Go back!

L chemist

The new "neon lights" look is ugly and difficult to see. Also when I double tap the selection window stays open. It used to pop into the board automatically. Put it back! Please!

Bad change

Liz 2006

Used to love this game now I have a difficult time seeing the entire image barely any color the only way to make it worse would be white on white let me know when you are going to change it so I could actually see it to play, it is not fun anymore feel like I am going blind..

Full of bugs

Genuinely bad programming! It's a treat! For example: * cannot read description of game rules, because window is too small & cannot scroll * texts describing row/column hints flash for 1/4 sec, or are just simply empty

A great game.

I first discovered this type and style of game for my old PDA. I like this version much better, however there are two problems. One, if you double tap the symbols it removes all of the other symbols, but sometimes when you don't mean to double tap it registers a double tap and takes the other symbols away and I loose. It would be nice if there was an option to turn off the double tap removal. The other problem is that the symbols are too repetitive. It would be better if you could customize each row (top row is 1,2,3,4,5,6 row two is A,B,C,D,E,F,G etc.). If it had those features, I would give this six or even seven stars.

Update

FirespriteN

Since the recent update the app is working great. I love playing these puzzles. I wonder though how many puzzles there are total. I've been playing on Normal mode for a long time and I hope I don't run out of puzzles.

confusing

If you love logic puzzles (I do!), you might enjoy this one, but I didn't find it very satisfying. The instructions are confusing. The Easy difficulty is usually far far too easy, but the Normal difficulty is usually far too difficult for me. There doesn't seem to be any way to get a difficulty that is consistently enjoyable. It is extremely easy to get confused by the clues, which are the same shapes for each row just different colors (warning for anybody who is color blind: don't even try this game). If you make a mistake (easily done by accidentally tapping the wrong icon) you are allowed to continue anyway, but the warning message is quite clear that you have LOST the game at that point, which is rough on my ego.

A thinker

A really good logic puzzle game, and the major interface flaws have been fixed (thanks to the 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 updates) but it still has minor problems. Yes, the "You Lose!" box is a little disheartening, but since it only adds a minute to my score instead of killing the game, it's not that bad, and those of us with low self-esteem can quickly learn to ignore it. (I have found a case or two where you can't undo your selections, and I will e-mail the developer the details.) Some of the color schemes are garish, but you have five to choose from and four different backgrounds, so no biggie. Overall, a very good implementation of this puzzle. I give it 4 1/2 mice, I mean stars.

This is buggy

The first game worked, though the hints were confusing. Then I could not select anything.

Woops!

I love this puzzle, but the most recent update has resulted in an occasional failure to turn off clues that have been completed. While you're at it, it would be nice if the freestyle mode offered an option to go back after an error.

Great Brain Exerciser

Frostys_girl

Edit: YAY the bugs have been fixed, thank you so much!! No more accidental double-taps! I agree with another review, the freestyle mode REALLY needs an undo option. Still a great game :) Original review: I'm giving this 5 stars even with the exasperating bug that it keeps registering a double tap when I KNOW I didn't double tap- resulting in that disheartening "you lose" message. At least it does let you continue. It's an awesome- and very addicting- brain exercising game. I will however be very grateful if they manage to fix the bug I mentioned!
