Lots of fun for kids

The cute drawings in this education game is great for my young one. She loves to play the different puzzles and minigames on my iPad and her favorite character is the pink pig. Very entertaining and keeps her busy for hours!

very pretty app
emily_girl

This app is very visually appealing. My four-and seven-year old daughters love games and stories with animals, and if the animals can talk, then so much the better. I see this app is rated for 4 and up; in my experience, I don't think this would hold a five year-olds interest for long. The games are focused on counting, following simple directions, color identification and so on, so a child older than four or five would probably find it too repetitive and not challenging enough to play through more than once. Some of the screens are nicely, gently interactive. There's not a lot of razzle dazzle here, and I think a three year old might enjoy it as well.

Fun but limited

This is a cute app with a nice approach to some very basic counting and reading skills. The pictures are cute with not much animation. I'm not sure how many times a child would want to play this app after the initial completion of the game as I didn't see too much variation with what was being asked on the second and third completion.

Engaging counting game

Most children I presented this to were very engaged by the pictures, sounds & tasks & the way they moved along. There was some frustration comprehending speech, & one child did not know what a weasel was, so he had a difficult time finding it at first. A child with ADHD struggled with the slow appearance of searched animals in one scene and got so distracted that they never returned to task. No exit was found & they never found the task repeater via the owl. I would love to see more ability to customize timing , numbers and animals used to help make this more accessible to kids with motor or cognitive processing problems. All in all, though, it really held the interest of some highly distractible kids and that says a lot!

Charming App

A thoroughly charming App for children 4-6 to learn their numbers, counting, colors, animals and animal sounds. Lots of variety and interaction in the App. The graphics are detailed and beautiful. Humor appropriate to the age group is present. Children will love this App.

Hilarious and FUN and Educational too!
OneAppyMama

I really enjoyed this app. It is totally different than any app (learning or fun) out there. It's interactive and downright juvenile but I mean that in a complimentary way. It's what makes it appealing in the first place. Do not let the graphics fool you sort of thing. The voices used are no different than being silly and the feedback generated when you did/do something correctly was/is great. That helps a lot. I find myself drawn to this app. My kids love it. I would love to see more puzzles etc added (although I get that you get some to open the more you do the games over - sometimes it is hard for a child to repetitively play them 10x etc). I would love to see more and more added in the future. I just really enjoyed that it was on my kids' wavelength and while that snickered and laughed they learned something. I was not too sure about the 'flatulence at first' but it just goes with this app and for my two at their ages it is all about that and you can't help but laugh at it. Maybe it depends on your humor or if you have one but it is something I can sit down with my kids have a laugh and know that they had fun putting puzzles together / hide n seek or counting. I found it delightful.

Silly and fun

Overall, love the app. My boys really enjoyed playing it and I felt like my 3 year old was getting a lot of color and counting practice which he needs. He thought he was just having fun, but he was learning too. I love the art and the sound effects and my kids were thrilled with the humoristic parts. There is a bit of potty humor to it (an owl poops, a bird farts) which should be considered before purchasing.

Overall Good App
Frances Amato

The things that I like about the app are that the sounds and images are engaging to children. It is easy to figure out what to do on each board of the ten games. It is a fun app with a nice way of approaching beginning counting, reading, solving puzzles, matching and learning how to follow simple directions. It can hold the interest of children and engage them in learning and playing; which is always a great thing. The games are fun, the children do learn colors, counting and animals and this app has a lot of potential. I especially love that when you need to locate the rats, mouse or weasel it will shine a light around the animal in case the child does not see it. I think that this app has potential to young children early skills. I do think the game can use some changes in order to make it feasible for all children to use it and be completely engaged no matter how many times they play it but the games themselves are a lot of fun. Overall it is a good app.

Unique!

This is a unique app that is very appealing to younger kids, I think it would be perfect for 2-4 year olds. There is original art work with many different games to keep your child interested.

Simplicity is Key
SD_SLP

Two years old might be a little young for the app and six years old might be a little old for the app, but I think that is an accurate range. There are educational games that are engaging and interactive in nature. The simplicity of the drawings allows the purpose of the app to be known and is not a deterrent from enjoyment. Each game is a little different. Each time each game is played is a different experience. Good app!
