Singles - Foursquare dating

Ever been at a coffee shop and wanted to strike up a conversation with the girl or guy across the room? The Singles app shows you who's checked in to your current location and lets you send them a message (and maybe get one back).
Category Price Seller Device
Social Networking Free AppWolf iPhone, iPad, iPod

How it works
- Download the Singles app
- Check in someplace (powered by Foursquare)
- See who else has checked in there (and whether they are single)
- Send someone a private message

The Singles app uses Foursquare only for check ins. All messaging between users is done through our private servers and is completely confidential.

Interesting idea. if it worked...

App loads, gets to a login screen, tap login button and nothing happens. I let it sit for 20 min and it was still on the login screen. Foursquare app was open at the time so that wasn't it. Foursquare shows that it is authorized.

no one uses this app so therefore it is pointless

this could be a good app if people used it. Since no one uses it, all it does it take up memory.

Useless
MrPebius

Evidently only app users show up, not Foursquare users in general.

What wrong

The app keeps shutting down when you try to open, need to fix this error

no longer supported by Foursquare
plaintiger

when I launch this app I see an alert that says, "the Foursquare API no longer supports…" um...I forget the exact wording, but it has to do with "versioning" and seems to be saying that this app is no longer supported by Foursquare and no longer works with it. The rest of the app's behavior bears this out, as it does not remember my login information after I tell it to, nor does it retain the information I put into the "about me" section. what I wonder, in situations like this, is why a flatly non-functional app is still available for download in the App Store.
