This game has smooth gameplay and nice graphics that aren’t like the other out of date looking spade games. It’s a fun game for anybody who likes playing cards online.

Another new review 10/13/2017 Yay! You've fixed a lot of the issues (and the most serious issues) that I complained about in my last review. Thank you! There are still a few things that detract from my enjoyment, but the game is once again playable. Remaining issues: 1) Scoring is mostly fixed, but you are only giving 50 points for winning nil bid. It should be 100 for nil and 200 for blind nil. 2) If you've done anything about #2 below, I can't figure out how to make it work. 3) Fixed! The ai players still make some dumb moves, but it's not enough to ruin the game. 4) still no change. I'd like to see an OK button at the bid to make sure I've not fat-fingered the wrong bid. 5) fixed. Thank you. I can now easily find the spades again. 6) I'll stop whining about the ai player icons. Not a biggie. 7) I was too frustrated to notice this before, but it would be nice if after a hand the app would wait for me to look at the score and review the hand before loading the ad. Maybe when the user clicks on the OK button to start the next deal? Some things I like about the game: - I have bad eyes (and play on a small screen) so the larger numbers are great. - the game no longer crashes if I get called away in the middle of a hand and have to close the app. - I notice that a lot of the ads now have mute buttons. Yay! I play a lot at night, but need to hear if I get an actual phone call, so I like to be able to mute the ads. I am really impressed that you not only fixed so many of the things I mentioned in my last review, but also took the time to respond to me. Thank you! It shows that you value your users. Previous review 9/25/2017 Four years ago you took this game from a sucky game to a great one, now you've made it sucky again! Here are the things you've ruined: 1) Scoring is screwed up. For standard spades it should be 10 bags for the penalty, not 5; you can no longer play to 500 points; you can't easily see bid/made per player. Although unless you fix what you broke, I don't think I'd want to play long enough to get to 500. :( 2) you can't see/check the score summary during hand play. There is an icon in the corner of the screen that looks a little like a scoreboard, but it doesn't work. You can't even go back over the score for the past hands any more. 3) The computer players make stupid plays, like trumping partner's ace or discarding when player should Trump to make the bid. I don't think I've ever seen so many tricks taken by an 8 or below. 4) The game makes you confirm every play, which is ok, I guess, but not the bid. Be consistent. 5) Hand layout puts spades in the middle of the hand. They should be on either end (i.e. either SHDC or CDHS). 6) The graphics aren't even as good as they used to be. ------------- (4 years ago--must have been 2013) So this is the new review. I saw there was an update--didn't say what the fix was, but I decided to try it again. Fixed! The game is now allowing you to play to game (500 points) rather than stopping at 3 hands. In the meantime, I downloaded ALL the other free Spades games, and this one is far and away the best. Way to go! --------------------------------------------- (Old review) Up until the last upgrade, I would have rated this game a 5. Great graphics, good play, ability to review last play. But with the last upgrade, game is limited to 3 hands, not 500 points. Yuck! If this doesn't get reversed soon, I'm deleting it from my phone.

This card game is really fun. The graphics are cute and really easy to work with and around. The fact it's free makes me happy too. This may replace my favorite solitaire app!

Bring back the old one. Your partner under cuts you when you go nil instead of covering you. Not a good at all.

I agree with everyone else. I enjoyed the old version and now I can't choose characters and I have to double tap cards. The whole look is like a cheap version of the old game. I will start looking for a new spades because I don't even like playing this version.
