Responsive developer and easy-to-use app. I also personally recommend the other apps offered by this developer, Geló and Bleach Bypass. Very unique and useful for mobile photography. Keep up the good work! The one recommendation I have for this app is that when you are using the color filters that you can see the entire screen of your Image. The bottom of the image in covered by part of the filter selection and in my case I was editing a picture that had something down there that I needed to see. Other than that I would like to see some more presets and an option to not use the border while going through the presets. I would also add that I really like the degree to which the brightness, contrast controls operate. The controls are smooth and the levels allow for a fairly subtle adjustment which is how they should be. High resolution saves here too!

I have been using Snapseed for editing my photos for a long time. And while I still love the app for editing in color I've found that adding a filter in black and white leaves the photo looking grainy. Simply B&W is the only app I've been able to find with quality monochrome filters in addition to adjustments for brightness and contrast. This is not a feature packed app which is exactly why I've given it five stars. It has everything necessary for creating quality monochrome photos and nothing else.
Crashing

Just downloaded it after reading about it on Zite. It is simple and effective. It has crashed, though, while saving, on some of the files. Using iPhone 5.

Love that I'm able to control my own settings and save my own creative presets. Without a doubt a must have black and white app to add to your arsenal.

App does what it says. Great 'grain' control and several other editing options ...but it's only black and white, no sepia or cyan tones. I like soft platinum tones. Not here. Easy to use. Just limited.
Needs to utilize iOS extensions

The b&w editing abilities are good but the app needs to enable it to be used as an extension from within the photo app.

I love having an app for designated black and white photos. It gets you in that frame of mind. And this app works great. One of the best at adding grain in post production too.

i love this app because it does the color to bw really well. the only negative and it is not exclusive to this app is that the added borders crop the image. i hate this. create a canvas around the image.
