Doesn’t work on watch

Their web site says it works on Apple Watch and implies you don’t need a phone. That isn’t the case, I selected a couple of stations and tried to play them from my watch. They played on the phone. I put my phone in airplane mode and nothing would play. I got this app specifically because I wanted to listen to radio on my watch and this app isn’t it. Otherwise I would have paid for the app. Instead I’m deleting it.
