Laughing in poor taste

This is billed as an educational game but when a child gets an answer wrong, the sound is adults laughing. It is a mocking laugh that my 4 year old heard and it really upset her. Very, very poor judgement on the part of the game designers to have this laugh be the soundtrack.

So I was randomly downloading apps on my goddaughter's iPod, and it's a good thing I played this one before I gave it back to her. How dare you! Your making kids feel horrible for getting answers wrong. You should be ashamed of yourself. This game needs to be taken off of the app store.!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!!!!!!!( if you love your kids.)

I had just sent a note to the developers regarding this insensitive app the other day - saying how offended I was that there was sarcastic laughter when you get a wrong answer. I hope they get the message to change this. I won't let my daughter use it until it is, and will warn others to not use it unless it's changed.

What other reviewers have written about the laughter is all true! Spare your child the anguish and buy a different kids' math app. Another gripe I had with this app was this: the math problem is presented to the student to solve. The correct number of objects to count to solve the problem is also presented. I'm trying to teach my kids to work for speed and accuracy. Instead of memorizing the correct answer, they just count the objects. Seems like the app is teaching counting, not math.

Would be fine if it didn't humiliate child...

If the child gets an answer wrong, it laughs at you. I don't think this is very nice at all. Otherwise, you'd have a fine math app. Get rid of the laughter and I'll reconsider using this app.

My son was so upset when he got an answer wrong. This app is a very good learning opportunity,but it humiliated my son so badly. Why in the world would they laugh at a little child for that??? They should encourage them for getting them wrong! At least the tried to do it I mean every one makes mistakes!!! Horrible app I would not recommend it.

Was shocked when my 6 yr old started crying because she got an answer wrong and the sound she heard was laughter. The developer should be ashamed and restricted from any future children's apps. Shameful!!! Shouldn't even receive the one star required to post.

My child was crying because she got a wrong answer and heard laughter from the game. What kind of encouragement is that???? That is not the way we teach our kids, to laugh at others for making mistakes. Uninstalled immediately!!!!
