Using SimMon on any pair of devices, iOS 11 or newer, gives you a simple remotely controlled simulated patient monitor.

An iPad makes for an ideal multi-touch controlled remote and the big screen makes a great bedside patient monitor.

Open SimMon on your two devices of choice and connect via WiFi or Bluetooth. Change the blood pressure, oxygen saturation, respiration rate or heart rate by touching the value and dragging your finger up or down.

Simple setup. Easy operation. Low cost.

Thank you for the amazing feedback and support - it keeps SimMon evolving!

Great product!

I am super happy with this. I paid $1000 for another trainer program and I like this one better. We strap a large iPad onto the monitor. When the students connect the leads to our simulated patient, you can add the data using your iPhone as a remote control. As conditions deteriorate, just dial down the blood pressure or O2 sats using your phone. Makes a tremendous simulated drill and is easy to use. Good work developing this app!

Needs sound!
simmy90210

Basic but works easily. No sound though. Would be a really useful app if it had pulse tone that altered with heart rate & pulse oximetry reading. A few extra features beyond this (waveform trace, BP cuff noise, ECG trace, cycling BP numbers during measurement, etc. would enable you to run relatively high fidelity simulations with a patient actor or a very basic mannequin.

Fantastic portable Teaching Tool
Levophred

I would highly recommend this for any clinical educator. What a great teaching aid for Mock codes or ACLS and PALS. Very easy to use and very receptive from students. Can't wait to see what the updates bring, this app can only get better. Their customer service is outstanding as well!!! Keep up the great work!!! Great app
Azores Doc

Already good. With some enhancements will be awesome!

Amazing!
DMedo

This is an amazing piece of software, it allowed me to do simulation for my residents without the high fidelity mannequins. I would suggest if you could add the ability to display images of labs, ECGs, x-rays, or CTs. We can provide our own images depending on our scenario. I loved the ease of using my iPhone as a Bluetooth remote!

Not so good
Bhutancrazy

SVT, NSR, and VT are all the same waveform!! Very limited ability to show different clinical situations.

Great teaching tool.
Mist24

This is a great tool for teaching Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Nice secondary monitor for mega code testing and teaching station.

Amazing

I'm a respiratory clinical instructor. This is EXACTLY what anyone doing medical education needs without having to book the SimLab!

Outstanding for price paid.

This is an excellent system to use for teaching/simulation and rivals other programs that are 10 times the price. A couple of little quirks- - the ABP and SpO2 wave forms don’t actually match the ECG- for example, they should be irregular when the rhythm is irregular, and should go flat when a rhythm such as VF is selected. - the ETCO2 is measuring in cmHg instead of mmHg. Maybe that’s how they do it in Denmark. Not a big deal, just looks weird. - the ECG doesn’t always change to the correct new rhythm until you also adjust the rate. The rate should automatically adjust when you switch to certain rhythms (for example, when you switch from an SVT at 170 to third degree block, the rate should drop to 30 or so... instead it stays at 170, which is pretty bizarre for a third degree block. On the other hand, you can use this behavior to vary the QRS morphology of your SVT a bit) Could we get some pacemaker rhythms? At minimum, a ventricular paced, failure to sense, and loss of capture. Adding an AV pacemaker would also be cool. Thanks for a good product at an awesome price.

Defibrillator
Ventilator74

If you have an iPhone as your only option, using as the monitor, the device will not allow defibrillator option
