Wonderful App! Amazing IT support

This app is wonderful. The stories are beautifully presented, my kids love them. When upgrading to a new phone I had some trouble with the app. I emailed for support and received a prompt reply. They arranged a call with me at a time that was best for me even though it meant 10pm for them! Their concern and assistance was genuine and the app is working beautifully again! Thank you for this app and your top notch customer service.

My special needs two year old begs to watch these. He knows asl and the stories help him focus when eating. Now the app won't load at all even after shutdown. This has of course led to tantrums on his part. Should I delete and reinstall the app? Will I lose all the books we purchased? The problem started when we downloaded The Flower and got worse after buying Five Speckled Frogs which also goes to a green screen midway in the story.

After working fine for months, I downloaded a few more books and now it will not even open the app.

I have two deaf boys and they love this app! I am an interpreter and wife of a deaf man and these stories are signed very well. The ASL translations are clear and conceptually accurate and I'm glad to having a signing app for kids other than just teaching signs, accessible and entertaining for deaf kids!

This is my first review. Ever. Where should I start? How about with the signers themselves? As a parent I'm thrilled to see my deaf child watch these stories again and again, laughing and fully enjoying the experience. A good storyteller can keep a kid engaged for a few minutes; a GREAT storyteller can keep the kid riveted from beginning to end and make him/her want to experience it all over again when it's over. Peter Cook and Keith Wann engage my child on this level because they are masters of ASL, imho. From expressions (and all NMS) to their awesome use of depiction, I feel the same way one would if their child was learning to surf from Kelly Slater. Or taking piano lessons from Mozart (must I mention painting with Van Gogh or golfing with Tiger?!) Yes as a parent I'm thrilled. As an ASL student (hang on while I wipe the happy drool off my chin) I feel almost like I'm cheating, to be able to sit at the feet of these amazing signers! On more than one occasion my deaf child has had to pry the iPad from my hands so I can go make dinner. We watch a story before bed every night (me suggesting we watch another while deaf child rolls half-closed eyes), we are all learning and growing ... in short, the whole family is hooked and just today an argument broke out between two of my kids over who gets the iPad next (just bought two new bundles so we're all a little manic). Now let's talk about production. Someone took a lot of time and care on the graphics, layout, quality, etc. The images are so clear that I feel like I can reach out and hand these guys my Sharpie for an autograph!! Love it. A huge thank you to everyone involved with Signed Stories (more happy drool); my only "criticism" is that there's not more! Keep it coming!

One of my favorite apps, but...

This is one of my favorite apps, especially for my Deaf 5 year old. However, recently, the ability to sync purchases has not been working and so we’ve had to pay twice for the same book—one on my account and one on my son’s account, and we share a family account. I have close to $200 worth of books on my ipad...I do NOT want to have to rebuy all of them because the syncing no longer works. I’m disappointed that my Deaf child will not be able to use this app because I’m not rebuying every book—I’m already not pleased that I’ve had to rebuy a couple favorites to get him through until this issue is fixed.

Only one story is open but the stories have begging , middle and end a story isn’t expensive A story is only 1,2 and 3 dollars
