Lots of download apps for music and video can seamlessly go from your home Wi-Fi to a LTE network without a hiccup, thats great, but not so great if you have a capped data plan and have to pay for that LTE time! Let this app warn you when you leave Wi-Fi for LTE every-time.
You can easily test this app by turning Airplane mode on and off while the app is running, or by turning Wi-Fi on and off. You will see the pop up alerts.
Another fun way to test this: If you use Wi-Fi at home, walk around your block and see how far you can get before the app beeps to tell you you lost your Wi-Fi connection.
If you are not on iOS 4 or later yet, you can still use our "No Signal" app which runs on all versions of the OS (but does not run in background mode).
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

So much more you can do in here. Like have history log of when and where you lost signal in a way creating a map of good/bad cell areas, that could also be uploaded and shared with community. My issue is why not show both cell and wifi and not one or the other, it's not like we can easily make calls, receive SMS over the wifi connection.

If your on wifi you don't get notified if you lost cell service! I like the idea but I get terrible service at my house and always miss calls that is why I bought this app. That works just fine unless you are on wifi then you do not get notified if your cell service is gone. It only focuses on the data and not the cell signal. I wish I didn't pay for this app. I would give 5 if I was notified of my signal loss even when on wifi but I can't recommend it until this flaw is changed.

This has a potential to be very useful. It is working almost as described but in present state does not report always correctly and has limited functionality . I am looking for an update hopefully soon. Reporting is sometimes incorrect: tracks data only. When I turn off wifi and 3G it says "no coverage" but I still could make and receive calls on EDGE. Does not recognize EDGE. Needs more coherent reporting Needs a log. What is the point of reporting coordinates when there is no log? Just to waist power on GPS? - needs to be able to mail the log. Needs ability to select alert sound. I would like to select different alerts per case.

Even in my pocket lets me know if i lost service, you might want to turn vibrate on if you want to silence the alert, it will still vibrate to let you know cell is gone... Nice Update! Thanks for the MUTE for wifi, just what was needed.
