The app contains exercises with the 500 most frequent words in English newspapers, as well as exercises training words consisting of 1–6, 7–10 and 11–15 letters.
Great app to practice sight words! So many of the sight word apps are so 'busy' or too cutesy for an 8-yr-old who is still struggling... but this app gets right to the point! The words are very clear to read, the interface is simple to use, and the settings are completely customizable. I like that 'success is its own reward' instead of animations or games. Developer, it'd be nice if I could create my own word lists. Also, it'd be great if there was a way to master or 'retire' a word if you've gotten it right a certain number of times. Thanks for the really smooth app!
Got this for my dyslexic second grader. Way more fun than boring flash cards and you can customize to make it harder or easier. My 10 year old plays just to test herself for fun.
This is a simple yet effective way to train students to recognize basic sight words. I would like to see progress monitoring with a way to email data.
