Nice Interface - VERY Limited Exercises

JBHorner

The title really summarizes my impression. I am, frankly, stunned at the lack of exercises. This wouldn't be terrible if one could add her/his own. But, alas, it isn't possible. Example: Reverse barbell curls. Nowhere to be found. This is one of many basic exercises that are omitted. What is even more curious is the app's bias toward cable-related exercised. Perhaps the developers have access to gyms where there are ample cable machines. Most gyms I have visited have more dumbbells, barbells, and free weights.

Awesome app- Apple Watch needs work

My Apple Watch shows a week later (i.e. It is week 23 and it shows 22)

App With Potential

This app is the best workout app I have used to date. The thing I find most frustrating is that it does not show your max weight anywhere. This means you have to scroll through your previous workouts to try and find the correct weight if you don’t remember.

Some bugs

I used to be able to have Strongly share my workouts with Healthkit, but for some reason I'm Nov 1st that disappeared. No longer updates to my activity app. Edit Feb 8, 2018: still can't integrate with Healthkit. Very annoying to not have my workouts tracked in Apple's Activity app.

Needs an update

This app has a good base but needs some work. It’s compatible with iOS 9+ but needs to update to work well. There’s no watch version or tracker and doesn’t seem to sync with Apple HealthKit which is a bummer. The pro version has a bug where you can’t choose what equipment is needed for the custom exercises. It does have the most amount of exercises in its database of those I’ve tried so far though.
