Like most platforms these days, this is a great and convenient service until something goes wrong. Although Shyp says that they take great care to get all the packaging and paperwork right, and charge you for the service, if they do mess up, they will simply hang you out to dry and point fingers. It’s probably worth your time to pack the stuff yourself and drop it off with the delivery service you trust the most.

I’ve shipped literally hundreds of packages through Shyp with no complaints. In the earlier days I had a few things break in the mail but they always handled the insurance for me, so it wasn’t a huge deal.
Expensive fees

I have used this app for a few years now and I gotta say their fees for pick up have been crazy expensive that I will no longer use this app. The interface is great but never understands why there is some major delay on the link they sent out when the driver is coming to get your package. I will just buy the packaging myself and ship it since it ends up saving me 30% or more.

First of all, if you haven't already used Shyp make sure to use the coupon VJ99QG6 to get $5 off you first order! Might as well try it out since it probably won't cost you a thing! Thanks to Shyp, and due to my laziness, I no longer hesitate on buying things online that I might return. Returns are simple, I just give the prepaid label to the hero and it's $5! Such an incredible experience to have someone come directly to me and take care of the returns. It’s a relief not having to worry about packaging or finding the right box that fits. Next up for me is selling stuff on eBay. Wow. Thanks Shyp! Overall you should definitely give it a try, especially with the $5 off!!

Placed a request, waited 30 minutes and right when the driver was near they rerouted him to another job. My new driver was 20 minutes away. No thanks, you just optimized yourselves out of a new customer.
