Having so many food allergies, this is extremely helpful when avoid the top 8 food allergens and more. Even when you are use to reading nutrition labels, this app makes that even easier, saving time and making quick decisions while out grocery shopping. I've noticed that some odd brands aren't listed but that's expected since they can't do EVERYTHING!

This App is perfect for those trying to eat a plant-based or vegan diet. It’s also a good app for those that are trying to eat healthy. It’s a must-have for anybody with food allergies.

I can’t tell you exactly how much I LOVE this app. With a gluten intolerance, I’m finally able to find all the foods that don’t have gluten! I love the scan option so I can quickly scan the ingredients label instead of having to read the entire thing hunting for the words, “gluten”, “wheat”, “rye”, or “barley”. The app tells me if the product contains gluten with one easy scan and I love that. I noticed, too, that in searching for foods, the app won’t even show me foods containing gluten at all which makes my list way easier to look through. I love they scoring system that tells me which foods are healthier as which aren’t. One thing I’d like to request from the creators, though, is to make it possible to sort search results from high to low by health score. It would make things even easier! And, would make me more healthy! Haha! :) Thank you!!

The app simply does not function. Could not even get through the set up on my iPhone or my iPad

Ok, but needs improvement. First, I enjoyed having a website and not only an app. Sometimes I like to get my nose out of my phone and see a larger screen. Second, the search results are messy and difficult to navigate. If I am looking for a healthy bread, I want to search for “bread,” then be able to filter the results of that search by brand, rating, etc. Instead, this search gives a visually messy collage of breads with no rhyme or reason to the order of their presentation. Really disappointing compared to past experience with Shopwell.

I’ve scanned items that clearly show corn on the label and it states no corn - it would be nice it for corn allergy it would also detect these ingredients: These include baking powder, caramel, cellulose, citric acid, dextrin, dextrose, inositol, malt, maltodextrin, monosodium glutamate (MSG), semolina, sodium erythorbate, sorbitol, starch, vanilla extract, xanthan gum and xylitol.
