Synchs too Often!

Overall I like this app, or at least I did until the latest update which causes it to synch much too frequently. It is so frustrating while trying to make a shopping list or while at the store shopping. And there is no option to turn the synch feature off. I do not have any other devices using this app so I have no idea what it even needs to synch WITH?!

I love this app! Not only do you have the ability to check off your items as you get them but you can create more categories and it even has the ability to keep track of how much you spend.... Love this app!

I have had this app for years and have loved it. But 2 months ago, I went from an iPhone 5 to a 6s, and my lists of about a total of 700 items did NOT TRANSFER!! I had to start completely OVER! I have managed to get my biggest list reconstructed, but I've noticed when I add an item, it no longer automatically enters it alphabetically! But now for the BIG THING!!!!! Yesterday, I went shopping, and the list was acting "okay", as far as the item going into the "background" when I clicked the square after putting it into my grocery cart. But a few hours after I got home, my husband asked me to add an item for the next shopping trip. I clicked "ALL" to show all of my items, added the item he asked for, and began to "UN-CHECK" items that I knew I'd have to buy next trip. BUT instead of the square clearing, the item DISAPPEARED!! I tried everything I could think of, but nothing works to restore my items or list!! PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks!

Generally good, but…

…the incessant syncing is the source of much wailing and gnashing of teeth. It seems like it resyncs every minute or so, with no way to throttle it back other than logging out while you shop. If you don't already own this app, you should keep looking.

I love this app, it has made list sharing so easy, but please PLEASE fix the sync issues. I couldn't even use it today it just kept syncing every 5 seconds and then went black. It used to be great! Investigating new list apps because I just can't use it anymore.

LOVE it, but NEEDS update

Please update this app!!! I've been using it for years and it is the best shopping app I've found after much research. The only reason I'm giving a 1 star is to show the importance of an update. It's constant ok on a black screen saying "syncing".

My family has been using the pro version for years, and it was always a Godsend. Since the last upgrade, it synchs ALL the time (each time going to a black screen for several seconds) and interrupts what you're doing constantly. A real hassle that I wish the developers would fix.

Good to Great but...

I've used this app for a while but I would like to see a few features added. 1) a budget feature as recommended by another reviewer would be a great addition 2) a barcode scanner to input the data rather than having to do it manually 3) multiple tax rate calculators - where I live we have one tax rate for food and another for non-food items. Currently I've been using the free version for non-food and the pro for food 4) last but not least, and I know I'm asking a lot, sync with an app like ShopWell Otherwise, a good to great app. I recommend it.

Better than paper and pen

I laugh at the store when I see shoppers using a handwritten shopping list. This app is much more convenient than a handwritten list. I can create different lists of what I buy all the time. That way it's always there and I won't have to strain my brain thinking up what I need. Shopping lists on my iPad is also a more modern way to shop. Paper and pen is so retro!

Not for a big screen

This app is great on a 5 or 5c, and I'd assume the SE. But on my 6S, it doesn't fit the screen.
