A dead app

I love this app, but if you update your operating system to OS9+, the app will sync the database almost constantly. It will sync during data entry. This app has so many great things to love: build-able product database, the ability to create categories, the ability to auto-share the grocery list. There are many benefits, but the constant syncing is an aggravation. The company really needs to correct this. I have regrettably started looking for an alternative.

I might give it 4 stars if I had more sophisticated needs, but for the simple tasks of writing shopping lists, it is exactly what I need.
Not Nearly Enough Basic Categories

OBVIOUSLY, The Developer Of This App Never Grocery Shops! They should list BEFORE purchase, ALL categories so you know if it's worth it! Here are the categories: Dairy, Meat & Fish, Tinned Food, Fruits & Veg., Drinks, Frozen Food, Houseware, Baked Goods, Candies - that's it! Where is Boxed Items (for things like crackers, hamburger helper...) Where is Breakfast Items? Pasta & Grains? Ingredients (like oil)? 'Tinned' food - really? I think in the U.S.A. we call it, Canned. Tinned Food sounds like WWII rations like spam. And where are other items like Paper & Plastic items for storage bags, paper towels? FINAL THOUGHT: If you don't want to spend the time to do this right, at least LET THE USERS CREATE THEIR OWN CATEGORIES! What a waste of money!
