Not saving but using up space

I download because it says to save you photos without taking up space. I have 0 space and deleted some things to download. I go an check in on it while it's syncing the the mg storage for if is already past 200 and my library is already at 990 in space used so how is this saving me space

Great app to save photos and videos I have over 2000 saved photos and it's saves you storage on ur phone however it doesn't have unlimited video backup and when I save photos from the app to camera roll its rotated otherwise this is the best photo vault

I love this app. I have over 10 years of photos in storage all for free. This app sends me reminders of days gone by and allows me to reminisce. This is my number one must have app for everyone.
