Sparks?

eacf123456

I recently downloaded the app and really liked the concept. However, you are unable to see people that like you unless you earn/buy “sparks.” This is ludicrous. In an effort to encourage users to invite more people to the app, you drive them away. Find other ways to provide incentives for users to invite friends, instead of limiting potential matches for current users.

Thought

I think you should b able to talk to at least on person every day for free.

Needs more filters

Nico1016!!

Allow people to filter only people recently active. Feel like I am swiping through 100s of inactive profiles.

Go elsewhere

The concept was cool, but with every update it gets worse. They’re slowly turning into a paid app. I don’t like the new restrictions with likes. I suggest going to a different app.

I wanted to like this app but...

I just can’t. The whole idea of only being able to see who likes you if you invite more people is infuriating (the “Sparks” thing). Why isn’t there an option to just pay for another tier, like every other dating app? I already have exhausted my pool of single friends, so now I’m stuck with “likes” that I have no access to. Also, why doesn’t the app at least automatically insert the likes into your dating pool so you can at least have a shot to match with them, like how Bumble does? I supposedly have six “likes” waiting on me, but no one left to swipe on in my dating pool? Come on. Hard pass on this terrible dating app. Stick with Hinge for actual results.

glitchy

sarai jasmin

ive unsuccessfully tried to type into the “in my own words”/about me section multiple times without success - so here’s to hoping people match with me even tho I look like the douche who doesn’t care enough to actually tell people about themselves on a dating profile :-)

Only pics?

jenweb325

I’m so confused..just started using but my first impression is...I’m only swiping based on their Pic and name? I don’t get to see their religion....job....interests....goals....witty expressions?? I can only swipe right on so many white guys named “Kyle”. Dont make me click thru...I’m here to swipe. I need something to distinguish them by!

Not Accessible!!

This app is highly unaccessible for blind/visually impaired users. Very disappointed dating apps are not working to provide for these communities.

No matches

There were a fair amount of people on this app and I understand limiting the amount of likes you can have in a day but I couldn’t believe I got no likes while swiping. I had to get the “see all likes” in order to potentially match with someone. Then after I sent my first message the match got deleted. And the other one has not been responded to. This is an interesting idea but frustrating to say the least.

Falls Short of Betches Standard

I’m a big fan of everything these folks do. I’m subscribed to multiple podcasts, and have been to a few of their stand up live shows. Even bumped into a couple of them in NYC. Suffice it to say, I love the content the team cranks out. That is until this app. UI is clean enough, and tons of suitable matches. However, what totally ruins it for me is the “sparks” system. I’ve invited multiple friends to join/swipe, but still don’t get the necessary “sparks” to get more swiping. I really want to love this app, but this sparks deficiency is a deal breaker for me.
