SheetRack Lite makes it very easy for you to download free sheet music of all kinds from our library, and provides you with several great features that will make your music reading experience even more enjoyable. You can benefit from a very organized (and iPod-like) view of all the sheet music you've downloaded, complete with a book-like image index. This is a spiffy little program except that there appears to be no way to put your own content on it. I have many purchased PDF collections and my own compositions that I prefer over the very nice scans offered for free download. One Chopin piece? I have 184. I will say that the downloads are very fast and look good. Because your content is controlled, the authors can provide a very nice interface including a picture of the composer and a sample line of music you can view in the list of resident pieces. That's just awesome! Best in class. Pages turn without the delay of other apps in this genre, making me think PDFs are not the file type being used. The metronome sounds authentic and is easy to set. I don't foresee blowing into the mic to turn pages but it is a cute idea. I want to give this app 3 stars because I can't put my own content on, but I have about a dozen sheet music apps and what Sheet Rack does do is implemented best and I can't deny that.

There is a banner ad across the top of each page of music, rendering the top line of each page completely covered. This app may have other strengths, but this weakness makes me want to look no further. Stick with forScore.
Good start.. Needs to have all the features it says it does.

This app is a great start but the ads show across the top of the sheet music with no way to see the first line underneath. Also it doesn't seem to have more than a couple of PDFs of music and the search is limited for practical use (searches title only?) This is a great start. If this was fully featured and a bit more developed I'd pay for it. Also as someone else mentioned, an ability to import other PDFs to use the same sheet music interface would really make this a top favorite app of mine. Great job developers, just needs a bit of polishing, best sheet music app I've found yet!

I love the accuracy and clarity of the music. I am a piano teacher and I can follow the music as my students play so much easier. I also play jazz gigs. I would love to put my jazz jazz fake books through this app. Maybe in the future? It would fit the pros much better. Otherwise it's a really good app!

The pages turn sufficiently fast. For short pieces, this App works, as it does for some of the longeer ones that I checked out (Mozart's sonata no 17). But do not try the Tchaikowski concerto, it quickly becomes unreadable because the pages do not line up with the screen by the time you reach the second movement: the right half of the previous page fills up the left half of the iPad and the left half of the next screen fills the rest. Needs some debugging before it becomes worth your money.

I love the app. Now all my sheet music is right in front of me and it's organized! That is what I love the most. But uploading the sheets is kind of a pain and really needs to be streamlined so you can convert multiple files at once. I'd also love if you could have sort of a favorites folder so I could keep track of the pieces I'm currently learning. But I love the paperless aspect of this.. Now I don't have to waste paper printing out pieces that I later realize I don't like... No bulky binders. I'm very happy with this purchase.
