Good app, but needs some work

The app only works in portrait mode on the iPad but not landscape. A bit annoying if you are practicing the app while reclined. It would be good to also have another game or two built into the app to practice and learn the notes. The existing practice is basic and isn't very challenging...perhaps build in flash cards would be nice. Or provide practice without sharps or flats. Overall though a good app but not perfect.

App really helps learn notes!

With the random display method this app really helps identify and remember the notes in both tremble and bass cleff. As a complete beginner this app really works great for me.

this app is really helping me to read the notes. However, I gave it one star because it was constantly trying to get me to rate it. When I clicked the "maybe later" option it would take me out of the game to the website to rate the app. Finally it tried to have me email friends when I clicked "maybe later" it brought up my email which I promptly cancel this brought me back to the app with a "you canceled the message" button which brought up the email again. This was an endless loop. Even after I sent mail to myself it gelt me in this loop. I had to reboot the device to clear this. This type of development has no place here. Let people use your apps for longer than 5-10 minutes. I probably would have rated this higher on my own if the app hadn't harassed me into a rating.

Annoyances and one bug that makes it not work at all

It frequently asks me to go to the itunes store to rate it and sometimes gives me no choice and brings me there. Is that supposed to make me give it a goood rating? It's very annoying. Apps i paid for should never do this. But more importantly they should never ever ever force me to email someone to tell them about the game. It wont work until i do this. I would expect this from a free app, but this app was five dollars and wont even do bass clef. It also should remember if i ask it to not use sound.

This is an excellent game for memorizing notes, but please take the hint feature that gives away the answer before the time is up. It's pretty irritating, especially when playing on Expert mode, and if I wanted to truly quiz myself, I shouldn't be given the answers in my face and It defeats the whole purpose. Get rid of this feature, and you've got a great game
