So encouraging and accessible

SusieQTexas

I have done several She Reads Truth studies through the app and they never disappoint! I love how they take a concept and share different scripture passages that relate and then follow it up with a devotional that helps to apply to you personally. I also LOVE the images/lock screens they provide. They are gorgeous and I often save them to send to friends who need encouragement or post on Facebook to share with others what I am studying in God’s word

Started a Devotional on it and have tried reading day 2 multiple times today, but every time I do it crashes.. the app looks really cool and I LOVED the first day of the devotional, but this is very frustrating

The Bible part of the app isn’t working. It’s blacked out even after I updated it.

Love the content miss the old app

As other reviewers have commented, the content that SRT puts out is great. I originally downloaded it ~5 years ago as an alternative to youversion and was really pleased. It ran quickly, the design was beautiful and the devotions were edifying. I was excited when they announced they were launching a redesign but when they rolled it out I was pretty disappointed. It was glitchy and way less intuitive than the old version. When I read the Bible it doesn’t automatically take me back to where I left off. It takes much more navigating to get back to my place in the plan that I’m reading. And the biggest disappointment of all is the organization of my bookmarks and highlighted verses. They’re all lumped together and instead of organized by passages that I’ve highlighted each verse is separated by its own highlight so it takes forever to scroll through and find what I’m looking for. While the update is aesthetically pleasing it feels a little bit like a form over function update and I truly miss the old version even after all this time.

Need the app to turn landscape.

For an iPad user like me, I usually begin my day with reading my study plans but sometimes I like to prop up my iPad. Although, I am not able to do so with this app which sometimes makes studying a bit difficult. Will there be an update on having the app turn to landscape for your readers?

Work in progress

I don’t prefer the app either... When I miss a day during the week of the current study, they want my to buy the study to look back, I appreciate the flexibility to go back and catch-up which the online browser provides for free. Let me know if I’m doing something wrong
