Cool but there’s a flaw with the iOS implementation

When you Shazam tracks from within the actual app and have the Apple Music sync feature these songs *automatically* get added to a custom Shazam playlist in the app. Unfortunately with the new iOS features that also allow you to Shazam track do not work with this feature… and that makes no sense because Apple owns Shazam! Take for instance, asking Siri “what song is this?” Siri will accurately get the song info and also allow you to open the sign in Shazam. All standard behavior. It even shows the new track a newly shazamed song. Unfortunately the automatic playlist doesn’t recognize this as a true Shazam. Same with when you use the iOS shortcut within the shortcuts app or when you use the newly implemented control center button. All three of these methods for Shazaming do not work with the Apple music syncing feature. PLEASE FIX THIS.

Do we need to actually review Shazam? Isn’t that like reviewing a sunset, or a babies smile, a basket full of kittens or a dog wearing a sweater? Shazam is magic, it is free, it - and only it -solved a problem humans faced since the beginning of recorded music, and it asks nothing in return from us but to use it, love it, and give it 5 stars and a review, apparently - and also monetize our unique user data, probably - also worth it. So, use Shazam, drink water, and sleep when you’re tired.

I love this app because I can find whatever song I want. In case I forget the name of a song just Shazam it and there you go!

I honestly think Shazam is pretty awesome but the one thing that is a bit disappointing is that you cannot sing into it and find a song. I know this might sound sort of complicated but it would definitely be nice
