Was good now it’s junk

Been using the app for a long time. In the beginning I made some good connections with like minded people. Now all they feed me are Bitcoin traders and other people who have nothing matching the specs I put in. I know they want to make money, but I would never pay for the app based on the free experience.

The app isn’t working anymore. Many people I know no longe can log in. The app closes out immediately after you press on it.
App is full of scammers

This app used to be good but now it’s full of fake profiles pushing Bitcoin scams. My subscription is now canceled. Stay clear of this app to stay safe!

Used to be a nice app Now I can't update my profile pic I cannot contact support through the app Not able to get to profiles of people who messaged me. I didn't think the app would become worse. Using a iPhone XS with iOS 14.4
Buggiest app ever

Doesn't let me upload a profile photo no matter what I try. I just keep getting an error message and no explanation. My husband tried this app too and there are bugs at every turn. A shame since the concept is interesting... Probably what's holding the app back in more popularity
Use it and determine for yourself

You fill out a profile with some details about yourself and links to your social media. Like Tinder, people view your profile and swipe left or right. I don’t know if the developers are still working on this app, because the last update was from late 2019. But I do hope that the developers improve the app.
Full of fake profiles and Bitcoin people.

Shapr USED to be great. They are awful now. Don’t even bother. They do nothing to weed out fake profiles trying to take advantage of everyone and literally thousands of Bitcoin forex “people”trying to contact you with their fake profiles. Their company names aren’t capitalized, fake photos, their links to their social media or LinkedIn go nowhere. Shapr has done nothing to stop this. Sure you can “report” them but it goes nowhere since there are thousands of others to take their place. I don’t know trust anyone writing to me on this site and you shouldn’t either. If I don’t give at least two stars btw, they won’t let me post this review. ?
Privacy concerns

I’m worried that this app still hasn’t provided any information on it’s data gathering and privacy-related matters. Why am I worried? Every time I have an image copied into clipboard in another app and switch to this app, iPhone warns me the app copied the image immediately from the clipboard into somewhere I don’t see. Why does this app sniff around for images for no reason?
Don’t. Even. Bother.

It actually used to be good, pre-covid. Pretty sad. Shapr used to be a casual way to network with like-minded business people - super simple. It turned into this mine-field of ‘Bitcoin investment professionals’, ie scam artists looking to steal your investment money.
