This is a great app. Beautiful to look at and fun to use. It's like having a room full of those great old-fashioned wooden puzzles with the pieces being made of shapes. My 6-year-old daughter with special needs, started the program and began playing it with no help from me. It held her attention for 25 minutes and was so intuitive that she knew immediately how to get a new puzzle to appear. It has become a favorite ever since and provides entertainment when we are waiting for siblings.

I was looking for an app that would help my child learn the names of the different shapes in a fun way. I bought the app because it claims to teach the names. Unfortunately, the voice is in a British accent, making the pronunciations much different than the American way. Some words are different as well. For example, trapeze instead of trapezoid. When playing the puzzles, I wish it would name the shape chosen as additional reinforcement. The app is beautiful otherwise, however for our purposes, my money would have been better spent somewhere else. This app could actually be a detriment to her learning since it doesn't use the words she needs to learn. I wish KinderTown had given us this warning.
