The goal is to remove all tiles from the board. You may remove only paired free tiles. The tile is free when there are no tiles either to the left or to the right from it.
If you cannot find any pairs you may shuffle the tiles at any times, but you will get a time penalty.

Really like this but has one problem. When opening the app have not found a way open a different puzzle than the last one before I closed the app. Would like to have option of opening a different puzzle every time I play. Had chosen an unplayed puzzle each time. Now after I finish a puzzle I choose a different puzzle before I close the app. Can we have the option to rotate the puzzles and not have to choose a new one. kate

This is the fourth mahjong game I have downloaded and it is by far the best one. I will be deleting the old ones and only use this one.

I've only played a few games so far, but I'm really enjoying it. Good graphics. Lighting difference to help you see which tiles are free which is very helpful. A good number of tiles and variety of layouts. I'm glad I downloaded it!

Love this version! Available tiles are highlighted, much easier on my aging eyes :)

First the game will only display in one orientation. It is upside down as I normally hold my iPad. In addition, it is annoying that I can not turn off the clock and that the game does not display the number of tiles remaining. Lastly, although you can reshuffle the tiles there does not appear to be a way to quit a game and start a new one. The graphics are great.
