Scarlet fate —Fragments of the past—(original title Shirahana no Ori —Hiiro no Kakera 4) is one of the many successful games produced by the famous dating Sim game brand “Otomate” from Idea Factory. The Shall we date? 1.Story Introduction
Set against the backdrop of the Heian period (ca. AD 1000) in Japan...In a sacred, snow-covered village is kept a sword with the power to bring the world to an end. One young maiden of a shrine is fated to seal the Sword’s power and protect it: Princess Tamayori.
She has spent her days since childhood being tormented by her sins in loneliness and under the heavy burden of protecting the Sword so that its power would not be released.
...Until one night when she encounters a wounded god and her lonely life changes forever; she will face the end of the world with comrades willing to help her.
She fights to prevent the demise risking her own life, but she begins to waver between her resolve and her wish to live for the one that she loves... Will there be a future for those who bear sins?
In this snow-fluttering world, the tale of the ancient Princess Tamayori unfolds.

It may be more then the rest but its a lot lot longer then the rest since its a localization of one idea factory's game. And the story good I hope we get more like this

I've waited for this game to come. And now it did I bought two story's and either of them are loading! I love you guys I've never had a problem! But if it can't be fixed I want my TEN dollars back!!!?

Each path is $5.99 BUT people have to realize that this is a PSP game that is only buyable in Japanese and thanks to Solmare it's able to be read by us. I LOVE Idea Factory's work but not a lot of their stuff gets translated. If they bring out all of the guys for about 6 each that's 36 bucks. Can you say you would only spend that much if you actually could buy the PSP version in English? Who knows because most of IF's stuff doesn't get translated! And trust me the story paths are long. I enjoy them way more than the dribble solmare and voltage usually release (sorry). It's definitely worth the extra two dollars.

I appreciate that you guys listen to your fans, I like this version the most without he extra stuff to be fully immersed in the story and not have to worry about anything else. Amazing CGs and good story would play again and again.

Wow an Otomate franchise, this is great. I hope Solmare could pick up the other popular Otomate titles too like Amnesia, WOF etc. Also I know that this was ported from a PSP platform so the images are wide, but could you guys change the angle to make it vertical so the image can fit on the screen? It looks very small, I want to appreciate the beautiful art of Yone-san.

This app is well worth the price. It's a lot longer than NTT Solmare's other stories. The love interests are gorgeous, and interesting as you get to know them.

The only thing I don't agree with is how much this story drags, at times. Some moments are extremely engaging while at other times it begins to drag and I can' treacly enjoy the story. The plot is great. The characters are beautiful and very well made, Gentoka and Kuso especially. I love all the characters, who accompany the main character. My personal favourite in the group is Furutsugu because of his personality, but all characters have been designed wonderfully.
More PAID VERSION like this please!

I really LOVE this!! I can't put my feelings into words! Everything is so GREAT, I cry really hard in each story :') The stories are very intense and excited. Well, I kinda bored with the same start in few chapters in every stories but overall, it's much more than freaking happy with this! Also, I'm so happy that I can read through the stories without any disturbance. Please release more PAID VERSION like this! Thank You!!

The story line was decent some of the parts were boring and wasn't enough romance. The choices were really straight forward and not much of a challenge. It was more focus on the plot than the budding romance. I did see how honor, and loyalty with her comrades that's the part that tug on my heart strings because I grew to like everyone that was with her. Other than that the whole story was pretty depressing and understandable, but there's was no relief from the whole thing. That why I really didn't strive to get all the ending except for the happy one. It left me unsatisfied when the whole fate thing was over. I kind of expect more of a better ending since it left me go through all that depressing events. I like it but some parts I just wish she would stop mentioning about her sin. I prefer the ninjas series a bit better.
