Love them, hate her

Tatum Angel

Love the graphics, love the guys (for the most part), which is the only reason it's getting two stars instead of one, because I can't STAND the main character and, for me, that is the one bad apple that taints the whole batch. If you hate the "meek and innocent" stereotype, you may want to steer clear of this game- all these games, or just be like me and picture yourself punching her in the face when she gets really annoying. I have played most of the Shall we Date? games, and I have GOT to ask, will they ever gives us a protagonist with a little freakin' backbone? In the prologue, she was using a sword so I thought maybe this time we'd finally have an MC who isn't just a weak-wiled, useless, unconfident, annoying pain in the butt, but clearly, I was wrong, because she won't even do anything with it (I'll stop there to avoid spoilage). It is so hard to get into the story when all I can think about is how badly I want to box this girl up and ship her off to Kyrgyzstan so I'll never have to read about how often she she blushes with embarrassment again.

Reason I didn't buy:

5.1 Star Game

The main reason was there was no background music. It's amazing how much that changes things. Both voltage and d3 publisher have beautiful BGMs so.. I guess I'm spoiled. I DEFINITELY WOULDVE BOUGHT if there was music. The drawing style is beautiful to say the least, for all of the games, especially shall we date ninja, knight, and the protecting one with Billy. Really beautiful. But no music.. Plus, the menu screen and other navigation stuff was a bit too slow and all over the place. Not as simple. But really beautiful characters, My favorite being Etlas the elf I think so far, it's a shame I won't ever play him.. Maybe I will, I dunno, but beautiful characters. :)

Wish it didn't cost

I hate that it costs money to play. I give no stars.

Miss Hawj

Can you make a story for Arthur, please.

Wonderful!

Some otome girl

I absolutely love this game! I really want to buy the sequels and additional stories for each character. Please add sequels soon.

Best Game So Far

pixichic07

The graphics, backstory, and world were absolutely amazing in this game. I truly hope they take everything they've done in Magic Sword and continue with it. I found myself buying characters NOT ONLY because I wanted to see how the romance played out, but because I wanted to see their backstory and how me choosing them changed the world and how the story ended. Even without the romance, I would have played this game. It's THAT GOOD. I think that this is the first Otome game that actually pulled at my heart strings and fully immersed me. The characters were so lovable, charming and heartbreaking. The ONLY complaint I have (and this is how I feel about all Solomare games) is that it REALLY needs some background music. The first time I played one of their games, I actually thought my iPad was broken and panicked. Many of the Voltage games have simple background music, and it really helps. Keep up the great work Solomare designers and staff!
