Fantastic!

Love that a theme can be chosen. The sentences are a great way to painlessly meet new words. Short & sweet; don't have to make it a lesson at all, just fun.

Fun and smart

A fun app for older kids. Some of the phrases are hilarious, so it gets addicting--you keep hitting Shake to get a new sentence. The Monsters category is especially funny. I also like that you can save your favorites so you can reread only the best ones. But my favorite part is the quiz. It's great to have something that interactive to engage kids, plus you get to level up by collecting bananas!

Great language and literacy app!

I love the range of vocabulary and combination of sentences. Great app for getting exposure to a wide range of vocabulary words in a fun way. Would really like to see the developers take advantage of VoiceOver. I would like to use VoiceOver to help give an auditory cue to a word I'm having a hard time reading or understanding. I would especially like to see it integrate and work with the definitions. Currently if I turn VoiceOver on it will read each individual word but it will also add the word "button" after each word. Adding this feature would turn four stars into five stars! :-)

Could Be Better

This app is on the way to being great! It needs text to speech capabilities for students with special needs. It also needs a level of more simple sentences for younger students. It might also be nice if teachers could add their own sentences. These suggestions would make this app, great!

Review of the app

Universal truth

The app is interesting, maybe as a game, but it is hard to navigate. It does not let the students see their mistakes, and it does not let you reset the level on the quiz. I would not buy the app!

Room for improvement

When I got this, I thought it was more like the "mad libs" where it asks for "nouns" etc...it isn't. It makes "silly sentences" and then you go from there. I think it would be better for "smaller" sentences as there is a lot of words (esp when they don't make sence) and if instead of making the kids "find the nouns" etc...it asked them for nouns making the sentences "their silliness" dind't hold attention for long...
