Hope the developer has plans on supporting controllers. The game would feel so good with physical analog sticks.
Very unique concept. It reminds me of Helsing's Fire a little bit but it is definitely its own thing. The shadow mechanic is beautifully done and the virtual controls are spot on. IAP is completely optional although I would suggest spending a buck or two on IAP because $0.99 is a ridiculously low price point for such a quality game. Buy this now!
This is such a fun game with awesome graphics and gameplay! It's really original compared to most games in the App Store. You have one joystick to move the vampire and the other to rotate the scenario aka shadows. Awesome job with this game!
I thought this was a very fun and interesting idea.. However, I was extremely disappointed by the controls. No camera control at all, bad feeling onscreen dpad, and a weird spinning control that seems to frequently act up. It feels impossible to move and spin the world at the same time. Tap to move would be a big upgrade here (and maybe 2 finger rotate) Also the levels didn't seem very interesting or puzzle-like to me, despite some huge potential. Overall I found this to be completely not fun to play and I had been really anticipating this game, too This game is basically a gimmick game and those require flawless user interface or else it just doesn't "work"
Such a fresh idea. Inventive and addictive. Watch the video demo. It's as fun as it looks. A must download.
awesome gameplay with sunlight and shadows, not enough games are doing what this is! fresh new ideas.
Great game fresh idea and generally a great puzzle game. The only issue I have is I would love to have a camera control sometimes it gets a little weird to see where you are. Other than that this is a great game.
You play as a vampire and need to stay in the shadows so as not to get burned by the sun. One joystick controls the vampire and the other joystick controls the world so that you can rotate the buildings and manipulate the shadows. It's almost like Labrynth game but more on depth. It's a shame that the top reviewer clearly had no idea what they were doing because the controls are extremely simple to figure out and use. Perhaps that persons device was being weird but, honestly, the controls work great on my iPhone 4. I wouldn't call this game exciting or fast paced but its certainly interesting, slightly relaxing, and it should hold your attention enough to want to play a few levels at a time. Look, in a mobile game world that has infinite clones of every game type... Shadow vamps is a breath of fresh air!!!
