Is it me or does the opponent quicker then before. I have no time to react and it seems like my weapon is to slow when really it supposed to be faster. Even though I have the best armor on and I upgrade it I lose health to easily. And in duel matches the other player always goes behind mind and attacks me from behind and it’s getting to the point that I’m rage quitting this game. It’s a good game it just has a few problems. :(

This is one of the better fighting games on a mobile device I’ve found so far. The graphics are well done and the game mechanics are well done too. But the game also have many issues I would like to address. First of, this thing lags hard than running highest graphics setting on a farming simulator on a MacBook. And it’s too the point that I had to leave the game and clear it from history.(even on low graphics) Second the game has a hard progression. There were times where I was a literal sitting duck getting beat in one to three shots by my opponents both in story and online. I had to carefully make every move and spam certain attacks in order to counter the cpu. And not only that, but the loot you get from wins are either little to none or dirt useless. I understand the story mode is still coming out with new chapters and by that point you should have a decent gear set up.(Mine is really good due to them being from events) To sum this game up, it’s a really good and well done fighting game for both new players and experienced gamers. But be warned that you will come to a point where you feel like you need to buy gems to continue on. So far I haven’t had to need because I was patience enough to attempt the impossible fights and slowly fight my way through the storyline. But all in all it’s a decent game.

Pvp is fun, unless you have to fight someone with a higher gear rank which can kill you in one or two hits, please do something about that.

I don’t even get the story line like that was suppose to be the coolest part but now I don’t even get one or like any cool cutscenes whatsoever so it’s just like a bunch of dialogue that’s pointless and doesn’t intrigue me enough to read it so I just skip through

The fighting mechanics in this game is difficult to get used to if you play other app games such as Mortal Kombat X mobile. Pros: - Good graphics - Rewarding Gameplay Cons: - Difficult Fighting Mechanics/Gameplay - AI will punish you way too often - The game relies more on your equipment than your skill - You gain equipment randomly via card packs So, following up this list, the biggest con is the last one I stated. The game uses a card system for your equipment. It’s luck of the draw for you to get the equipment you need to progress. The AI will mercilessly beat you to a pulp over and over until you have the necessary equipment to lower their difficulty. It’s a staple that this series has had since the beginning and I don’t agree with it. I understand the developers want to make money, but this is a downright pay-wall, or keep opening the app every 3 hours to get 2 cards, 1 being a random equipment, the other being 20 - 50 gold, and a 3rd card if you watch an ad. To their credit, you get 2 - 2 card packs every 3 hours with a 3rd card in each pack provided you watch an ad per pack. The game trades the typical stamina or energy bar system by simply blocking your progression with unbeatable AI until you pay up or you luck out. This game also features an online Duel mode in which after every win, you get a chest that takes 3 hours to open. Similar to the Titanfall: Assault system. If you rank up in Duel mode, you’ll get a better chest that will take 6 hours to unlock. Or you use the premium currency to unlock immediately. If it weren’t for how little you can do at a time, this wouldn’t be too bad and would warrant a 4 star rating. However, because you do need to constantly upgrade equipment, you’ll be stopped and forced to wait it out and hope you obtain the equipment you need in the free drops, or pay for the better gear. Stamina meter or not, this still feels like your typical “free” mobile game. Lastly the combat in this system can be difficult to understand. It’s not a typical button mashing fight game. It plays a bit more like a rock paper scissor type of fighting. You have to land the proper hit to counter the opponent’s movement. Otherwise you get punished. It’s not a bad system, it just takes a lot of getting used to. The fighting feels a lot slower paced than other fighting games. If you try it out and enjoy the style, by all means support the developers and pay for the premium currency. I’m still on the fence about it.

The first game of theirs I got into was Shadow fight 2, and at the time I never put a cent into that game and did great. I was very excited to hear about this game and waited for the release. Recently I had started to finally see why I struggled so much with half the bosses on all these events. It felt as if In order to beat them, you have to have legendary gear or else they will take you out very, very easily. It’s almost ridiculous. It felt as if in order to have a greater chance you’d have to purchase one of their promo deals that granted you whatever new currency they had and you could then use that to buy one of the new weapons, and the packs them selves normally cost 20 dollars or 15. It’s just annoying that I have almost all legendary gear on and even then I still lose so easily. And lately the hit registry has been awful. It’s just abysmal.
