Hearthstone became boring so i was looking for similar games and this one just hit home run.

I've been a fan since day 1 more than 6 years ago. The slow progress of the game has made it hard on the community but the product is good. Well balanced and well tested. Hopefully it stays that way for years to come!

Despite forays into Yu-Gi-Oh, Hearthstone, and Magic on my iPad, I always return to Shadow Era. The game is reliably fun, and the card library (and thus deck strategies) are limited enough to be able to easily grasp. It's free to play, and a player starts off with a starter deck and can check in for a free card every day. The new campaign is epic, difficult enough for a good challenge but a quick run through the one-stars is possible depending on the deck vs the challenges. Definitely check the community forum, there's some good strategies on there!

Goes the distance. Enough content to play for quite a while and without having to pay. Keep up the good work!

10/10 more for MTG fans (adults) leave the Blizzard tcg and anime tcg’s for the children. I’ve spent prolly $100 on cards and I’m extremely happy with the cards I have.

This game professes to have the “most generous free to play” I’d have to call BS. Played several hours and only acquired 1 card. There is no diversity in play style, and if you pick the wrong hero deck to start, you end up behind the curve from the get go. There are too many cards to buy with no good filters to find anything you want. Except maybe knowing the exact card name and searching for it.. and boosters are too expensive.. any other game I would have been able to get a few booster or “card draws” by now. I feel as though they talk a mean game about being free to play friendly but it’s a lie. From the get go, you are made to feel like you NEED to spend real money to get anywhere
