Great Game - Hideous Interface

Please make a simple, ‘clean’ version of this game. It’s garish.

A few options would make it better

I also got hooked on the game by playing the freebie in the NYT. It would be nice to be able to turn off the time clock. Pattern would be a nice option to color and I agree it is hard to see the yellow highlighting the card.

Title says it all: the makers of set have a multiplayer version for the iPad, but this iPhone / iPod version won’t do that, even if you have a screen that’s big enough! So annoying! Don’t waste your money; set is far less interesting with only one person!

Great game & good app

Set is a fantastic game. It may seem hard at first, but be persistent. I've taught the game to many people and they are all hooked. The app itself has the basic game plus some other game modes like Arcade, Puzzle, and Marathon. For each game mode, you can choose a basic deck (easy) or the advanced deck (harder, more like the real game). I'm not giving the App 5-stars for two major shortcomings. 1. The statistics can only track your best speed. More stats would make me play the game more often. Also, more stats would encourage players to use the app to exercise their brains. And they could see improvements on different factors beyond speed. Come on guys, give us more stats. 2. There is a hint option. But the hint itself is hard to see with only a light border around the card-hint. Please make the border into a black, bold border . In fact, a border should also appear whenever I select a card. Currently, I can't tell which card has been selected so there are a lot of time-wasting taps.

Was so excited to know that there was going to be a Set game released for iPhone (and not the knockoff versions that are in the App Store now)! I have played through each of the 3 game types and can finally be happy that I can play my old childhood game. So far I don't have any complaints, since everything is running like it should. THANKS FOR MAKING THIS GAME!!!

great to have a version true to the card version that I can play while commuting by train. Found card version in the 90's. This is a wonderful app of the game

We often play this game with friends as a card game and really like it. We were excited to hear that the same company (SET Enterprises) had recently released the game as an app for the iPhone. What a treat! Now we can play it more often, and as such this has now become our favorite game app. The app is very well designed and makes it easy to focus on the challenge of the game. It is stimulating and fun, and I have become quite hooked. I am glad I am now able to have the game with me on my iPhone, so I can enjoy it more often.

Not worth the money

I really wanted to like this app and have some fun matching cards, but I just couldn't. This is a very basic app, has bland and somewhat confusing user interface, and boring game modes. To think this game came from the official company that made the SET cards, they need to hire better designers and programmers to do this, very disappointed. Where's the classic mode to add more cards? or play with a friend or two?

I played SET in math class growing up and am so happy that I can play it on my phone now, it's great for taking a break and de-cluttering my mind in between projects. I like to play the basic deck so the rotating basic deck feature gives it just enough twist that it always seems challenging. This app takes a great card game and adds a couple of new ways to play, I'm digging it!
