Entertainment Free Serotek Corporation iPhone, iPad, iPod

All stations under Community Radio are owned and/or operated by persons with limited or no eye sight. Genres include oldies, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, alternative, classic Rock, Old Time Radio and more.

Reading services provide narration of newspapers, magazines, periodicals and other print publications including: USA Today, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and hundreds more.

Podcasts are produced by blind and partially sighted individuals, and cover topics including: broadcasting, computers, radio, technology, Independant Living, Travel, and much more.

With an active Sero account, you can gain access to many more radio stations and podcasts, as well as an award-winning online community featuring real-time voice chat rooms, voice-enabled forums, blogs, personal websites, and more.

An auto-renewing subscription to the content and community features of Sero is available within the app for just $5.99 per month. Without a subscription or free trial, you'll have access to a small subset of our audio content, and none of the community features such as forums or voice chat.

If you purchase a subscription within the app, your iTunes account will be charged when you confirm your purchase. Your subscription will then automatically renew for $5.99 per month unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your iTunes account settings after you start the subscription.

Needs a lot of work! Crashes very often. Seen better apps

Audio content is the only thing going for this app
Rant67

This app is terrible! The chat rooms don't work unless you're willing to try many times to get in. Many of us who use them regularly, have reported this to the developer but has gotten no response. The only positive thing going for this app is the desfribeed movies & other audio content. That's about the only reason I keep it on my iPhone. I'm considered taking it off though. Obviously, this developer no longer cares about their product. Save your $5.99/month. Spend it on something else more worthwhile.

I question the legality

I question if this app is on the up and up. Here in Virginia if you go to the official site for Virginia voice you must have completed an application with a dr or other such official signing off saying your blind before your granted a log in with access to the audio stream. This app has no such verification. As for rest of app as others said it just stinks.

It Has Some Issues!
NBPJW

Every few days I would have to log off and on again, because it would say that “Trial Offer has Ended” and I was not on a trial basis at the time. Also everything I watched, would play for 15 minutes, then stop;. I had to get out of the selection and then start it again. That made trying to watch a movie very annoying. Otherwise, the app has great content.

Poor

This app needs too be updated. After my free trial ended, I subscribed for $5 a month. However, when I try to watch descriptive videos and television, sero won’t let me. The app says my free trial has ended, despite the fact that I subscribed to pay monthly. If this app won’t be updated I’m considering ending my payments and getting rid of my account.

Audio content was good until…
Cupcake 30

I have contacted the developer of this app several times to see why I cannot listen to any of the audio described movies because it tells me that my subscription is expired but when I go into the subscribe to sero monthly part of the app it says that I am already subscribed to this. Developer was nice but gave me a bunch of mumbo-jumbo about how many accounts I had and telling me that that could be the problem I did everything technical support asked me to including logging out of my account logging back in restoring my purchases among other things and yet still I am still dealing with this and I still have a subscription that I am not able to use. It works for a day or two and then it’s back to the way it was before telling me that I do not have a subscription really considering taking this app off my phone and just using Netflix for my audio described content

Excellent for the blind!!
