Disappointed

Love Stats. This app is finicky and barely useable. Pick drives carefully but even then is not much of a useable solution for reviewing lots of clips. Frankly I have ended up viewing clips outside of app. Developer “help” is vague - sort of here look at this stuff on web that does not solve issues. So I would not bother with this app.

Can’t use the app after purchase

Model3P

Read great review about the developer and wanted to review the Sentry videos. Plugged in my iUSB with SD card and was hoping for magic.... Oops, it only support one kind of usb stick, WTH??? Please support a more generic usb stick... such ad iUSB, Please!

App constantly crashes on my XS Max. Unable to use, feel ripped off, would like my money back.

SentryView Review

If you own a Tesla and record the camera videos with TeslaCam this app is a must, best one I’ve tried. With the iXpand flash drive it is the easiest way to review all the recorded videos with their time stamps. Highly recommended.

Thankful for the app, needs new UX

You’re doing something! And I love it. This space needs as much help as it can get! Thank you for this. - What if the app let go of the concept of mimicking the folder structures and just grouped all “events” into a reviewable interface. Load 10 or so into memory at a time or however many makes the most sense. - User could review the sets like emails and save / archive / delete them after reviewing each one. - A list of “events”. You could flag the rows with a tag like “sentry” with a red box or an icon. - Driving data could be a car icon with a label in orange. Just spit balling... - But I think the user shouldn’t need to worry about folders... that should be abstracted out for sure. - You could offer them filters like type of event. You could even create other views for the events... such as a calendar view... week view... etc. red dot for sentry events, orange dot for driving events... - Additional nice to haves... perks for down the road... somehow linking Tesla trip drives with the video data... maybe let them link their TeslaScope.com account and pull drive data from their API to group the clips to. - I think in the end... make it like a routine review and delete process where there are several events that need reviewed. - User could have a “Saved” records. - Load their data into SQLite or something upon app load so that you only need to load videos when the user chooses to instead of requiring them to load every time they swipe to a date.

Doesn’t work at all

Pcarriebear

Absolutely does not work. I have sentry mode and dash am footage that is saved to the flash drive (iXpand) and when plugged into my IPhone XS Max this app sees nothing as if the drive isn’t even plugged in. Keeps saying no video clips etc... what a waste.

Mostly unusable.

Good concept, but constant crashing of app. And video are too small on iPhone to view easily. Would be good for iPad maybe, but the supported USB device is lightning connector, while my iPad is USB -C. Additionally, the UI is not intuitive. And the date display is cutoff so can’t see which day the videos are for.

Does not support iOS 13 USB drive access

Baseball Fan

Alas, I was hoping that the app would support access to any USB drive that is mounted. It does not. It would be great if it did. Any plans?

Just OK

This app is good to just view clips however it doesn’t delete the clips. It’ll go through the process and when it’s almost complete deleting the app will crash and nothing will have been deleted from the usb. Needs to be fixed.
