This app helps your child to build sentences.
This app helps your child to read sentences.

This app provides the missing link between reading words and reading books-reading sentences.

This app gives emerging readers a step that will encourage skill building and confidence in reading.

Most reading programs go from reading words to reading books, which is a big gap. This app helps to bridge that gap giving emerging readers a gradual and fun step up from reading words. These short sentences are perfect to help children gain confidence in reading sentences.

This app has two modes. The first mode is sentence building where children can move the words into their correct sentence position.

The second mode is the reading mode where children can read the words of the phrase or sentence and then check their work by touching the hidden picture.

This app uses 2 and 3 word sentences, which are punctuated correctly and always begin with a capital letter.

The picture is hidden to encourage word reading instead of "picture reading." Most young readers upon seeing the picture will guess its meaning and not even look at the words. The picture is hidden so that the child will read the words first and then only look at the picture to check their work.

Prerequisite:
Sentence Reading Magic requires that a child is able to consistently and easily read 3-letter short vowel words such as bed, cat, dog, mix and mud. A child who is struggling to sound out most every word needs to develop stronger single word reading skills. If a child has to sound out each word and then, stop and think about each word, by the time he gets to the end of the sentence, he may have forgotten what the sentence was about. This is an indication that the child needs more practice blending, segmenting and building 3-letter short vowel words. The two apps that will help with this are:

ABC READING MAGIC

and

ABC SPELLING MAGIC

Decent

The app isn't completely grammatically correct. Yes, it is good to teach it early on but also at the same time my 3 year old niece never new the difference and this all HAS improved her reading.

Good potential

The effects are quite nice but I could do without the Comic Sans font. Features include voiceovers. You can choose a male of a female voice. You start out with really short sentences and it's quite fun to move the words around. My one complaint is that sometimes there is no sentence building. For example, "a big ram" is not a sentence and has no punctuation. There should at least be a separate category for it.

Good app
A.awesome

This app is mostly good with pronunciation. It's not so much a sentence builder as it sells itself to be, but it's great for phonetics and pronouncing words correctly.

Use their others
Zach Roe

I agree with others that a learning app needs to be correct in grammar, spelling, and punctuation. I recommend others try their other apps this is the only one I have been disappointed with yet, the others are good.
