With simply pinching the screen, users can zoom into these patterns at high magnification to find very detailed pieces to be painted. Because these paint by number patterns along with their custom palettes were created with Segmation technology, finished results appear realistic and close to the original artwork. Rest assured SegPlay® Mobile is not an easy child's color by number activity. You'll become fully immersed in painting this wonderfully designed, diverse, and detailed pattern.
The app supports patterns with several hundred pieces, each of which can be located and painted using near infinite pinching and flicking gestures. Fun to watch visual effects make paint by numbers an entertaining and relaxing activity.
This sophisticated paint by number app has many modes (normal, scored, timed, hint, creative, and instant), providing an assortment of playing options which test your paint by number painting speed, as well as your creative artistic side.
With Normal mode, you simply select a color from the palette and paint the pieces in the pattern by clicking in them. Once colors are no longer needed, they disappear from the palette! Exactly how color by numbers is meant to be!
Hint mode is similar to Normal Mode with a twist: once you select a color from the palette, only the pieces that require that color will display the number. Great for beginners to paint by number!
In Scored mode you beat the clock and earn points for filling pieces and completing colors. Bonus points for painting pieces consecutively, painting the smallest pieces first, and completing pattern! This makes paint by numbers very challenging as you figure out how to increase your previous high scores.
In Timed mode you see how fast you can complete the pattern and beat your previous timings. Some patterns are included on our leaderboards, so you can compare your painting speed to others.
In Creative mode you choose your own colors as you paint the pattern! Select colors from various palettes including original, warm, cool, grey, pastel, and sepia! It's color by number without the numbers!
In Instant mode we take the "work" out of painting each pattern - just touch the piece you want to paint and the correct color will automatically be filled in. It's mindless fun!

With the build in store, you can conveniently purchase and have installed from over 100 pattern sets with each set containing six digital paintable patterns. Describe difficulty levels

I wish there was a description of the difficulty levels in the packages before one purchases. I am only interested in the most difficult, the one I bought last night looked hard but each pattern was either easy or at best medium.
Needs new update

I love this app a lot but every time I close out of a painting It does not save so I need to start all over again so it needs a new update to get rid of the nasty bugs and also it could use a fresh new feel to it too

This is just like the art of the 1950s collectibles, but, with an electronic twist of the brush. I love it. I would like to see more masterpieces of true art to purchase and paint, and I would like to be able to buy more than 6 pieces at a time. It would be nice to buy 35 or 50 pieces at one time for about $5.00. Really captures me for high entertainment value. More! More! More! Thanks!

Try this app and you will totally love it. I remember loving doing paint by numbers when I was a child so this brings back lots of great memories. My grandkids can even use this app. Love that I can take it with me. I also have Segmation on my computer and love it too. When I got a new computer and had some issues, I just contacted them and their help was superior. Give this a try, let your friends know about it and I know everyone will enjoy it. Have fun!!

Love this app...BUT, need more updates! When you've purchased all the ones available and new one are added infrequently, it becomes not as much fun to redo the same ones over and over. More? Ever? Could be getting way more money (and stars) from me!

I have reviewed this app before, but now there are so many more pattern sets that you will love! This app is so good for stress relief, and want everyone to have this app to enjoy as much as I do. I couldn't do without this paint by number app, it has become a part of my daily routine. I love the pc version also!

We love painting the masters and all the rest of the silly and the beautiful pictures. So much fun. The colors, the sounds, the finished painting, so calming and addictive. My daughter has autism and I can count on this app to keep her busy and engaged! She learned to manipulate the pic to enlarge for the smaller areas. It helps her to focus and remember a number and find the matching number multiple times in the painting. And you have fantastic results for your effort when finished. We had a couple issues pop up and contacted them, and they quickly responded and worked on the issues until resolved! I hope Segmation continues to provide more and more paintings for us so we can continue to express our creativity. Also hoping that we can eventually use our own pics to paint:)
