Awesome app!!! It's like sublime text on mobile!

Very cool! Has INPUT feature!

Cronot7

Obvious features wanted (for anyone that works within an IDE) but a super neat app for those of us that aren't always near laptop / internet connection. Or if you dislike Bluemix, etc or are just starting out. I get ideas randomly (still not a pro coder) and being able to pop them out on the couch / waiting in line without having to do XYZ is refreshing. Also, it has an INPUT feature which is insanity.. Playgrounds and other sandbox software doesnt have that!

Paying doesn't remove ads completely

Jineaukai

It would be an awesome app if all the ads were actually disabled when purchasing. It only removed the banner. Video ads still play which stops you from doing anything. I will be getting a refund cause having an ad every 30 seconds is super annoying. Plus don't say you are going to remove ads IF YOU DONT ACTUALLY REMOVE THE ADS.

Worst ide ever

rat2l

Too much ads appearing, annoying.

Impossible to Edit

Legofilmer173

I can't edit this. I can't select words. I can't move backward. I have to delete to go back. Can you fix this?

No editing capabilities

Fünfundfünfzig

There are no editing capabilities, so you have to enter everything manually, no select, no copy paste. Complex code becomes complex "to code".

A decent simulator with a lot of potential

Somery

I have been looking for a compiler type simulator app for Swift to play around in learning beginner concepts and syntax. I agree that it was difficult to edit at first but I click edit then cancel and it resets the text editing. I see good potential for the first compiler simulator for Swift in iPhone AppStore. Looking forward to updates. I'll contribute by paying for ad removal UPDATE: Just wanted to add that I've been happy with this app more and more. There's a decent reference for syntax but with practice now I don't need it for switches, declaring dictionaries, arrays, variables, and more since things like syntax in Swift seem to follow a nice predictable pattern. I have read the Swift manual from iBooks to get the full grasp of this but actually typing without reference was more difficult. This helped me type it out and test usability without having a MacBook. Also the error messages are helpful when learning optionals. Sometimes I was force unwrapping the wrong parts of the statements. Thank you!

Good start but...

ali7e

It's a good start but has a lot of issues and limitations as others have said. Terribly difficult to edit or go back. I'm sure this will be fixed soon.

Impossible to use to write code

Alecoco1

The text editor is buggy and unresponsive.

Works great!

Das Pumpkinmeister

This pretty much everything I needed, so I decided to upgrade to the pay version that has no ads. Thanks for the app and great support!
