We weren’t able to do our annual name draw this year at Thanksgiving due to not everyone in our family being able to be together so this made it so easy!!! Great idea! Thank you for this ingenious app!

The app forces you to spend $3.99 if you want to use SMS or if you have over 6 people in the group. THEN... the app does generate a text but it shows who each person has. So as the “admin” I see who everyone has including the person who has me.

App does not unlock after paying

Paid to unlock this app but the app is not unlocking. I try re-installing the app and still not able to unlock even though I already paid. Sent message to app developer and have not heard back from them.

Beware of being charged without notice

I used this app for secret Santa with my family. Although the app worked as promised and was easy to do, I found I was charged for an “in-app purchase”, which I was unaware of. The only thing I can think of is that I chose to text the messages instead of email, but was never notified that I would be charged to do so. The app was free and I never got a prompt that I was going to be charged so that’s why this is getting a 1 star from me. $4 to text Shady AF

A couple things to change

If you are participating in the gift exchange, you are forced to see who everyone is buying for as you send each email. Not good. Also, once you create an event, you can’t go back and change info like date and cost. Not perfect, but good idea.

Difficult to get to work properly.

This is the only app that allows you to choose who is not allowed to get each other’s names. Saves you so much time and annoying moments. Also! You can select names from your contacts which allowed me to no have to manually write everybody’s info. I’ll use this every year, so why not! So good

This app was great until the very end and it showed me the text it was going to send so I now know who everyone has which kills the Christmas spirit... pretty upset.

Email function doesn’t work

This app is supposed to be compatible with my phone and iOS version. Everything worked great, including adding people from my contacts, choosing who needs to buy for a certain person or not to buy for. The last step sends an email to each person added, but I kept getting an error message that my phone can’t send emails. I checked all my settings and my mail app is set up with an account but it still wouldn’t work. Very disappointed bc I ended up just spoiling the surprise (for myself) and looking at the matches so I could manually send an email to each person with their secret match.

Paid version missing basic features

Disappointing. I bought the app but one person received an email that was unreadable, and there is not apparently a way to switch his contact info to resend the message to his phone without reshuffling the results. For the price, this app should be able to do more, like allow anonymous questions to be asked if each participant.
