Why can't I use my helpers?

Why can't I use my shovels? Every time I try the game quits on me

I agree with everything Scurvytoes said. Since the update and the game manipulation by the developers, this game is no longer fun - frustrating really is more like it. I'm at level 28 and until recently I've always loved this game. Just this morning I played a challenge, I had 32 game pieces (opportunities) to get the prize by selecting a bird in the avery. Not only did I not randomly even find a prize, after each chance passed (I was counting) and all prizes were revealed, I saw that only once the prize game piece was actually on the board for all of the 32 chances I had. This game is now like playing those cheesy games at a rundown fair. You know it's rigged and you're not going to win/advance. And yes, it takes forever to load and I'm not talking seconds more like minutes and it crashes a lot, almost if not every time I play.

I have played this game for several weeks. I do not understand why the materials needed in dig sites are not found more often. It is too hard to get shovels then when you do get some shovels the materials are not there. I cannot put money into these games like the developers want to make any progress. I am saying good bye. This game has some good ideas but needs major changes.

What happened to my game. It is like it just restarted but all my relics and coins and experience are still there but I have to pay to get to the different locations. No update showing available. PLEASE fix or I will delete the game. FIX MY GAME. First it started out with the slow loading now this.

I'm so sad. I've loved this game but unfortunately, Pocket Gems is retiring the game. Why?!?? Anyway save the click and skip since you won't be able to play for very long. Pocket Gems it's been awesome. I hope you develop another game that challenges me the way SP did. Cheers!

Game is fun but the game crashes all the time. Also takes a long time for game to load. Not worth it.

I Like It But Don't Always Get Rewards

I like this game and it's definitely addicting. There are challenges to do and then you're suppose to get rewards. The rewards are hit and miss. Several times I have worked hard to get the rewards and when I finished the task went to collect them and the thing disappears and I don't get the reward and they were finished in the alotted time. This has happened every time on the challenge that has the woman with the scarf on her head. I have probably been ripped off of 40 of the jewels that allow you to search the howling crypt. Also, don't always get the shovels I earn after searching 6 scenes. It annoying because most of the challenges are based on finding things in the dig sites with those shovels. Seems like a waste if you don't get what you earn. Also, on 9/10/2014 the game updated and now it doesn't work at all. And what shows up on the screen- a lot of my progress has been lost. Of course it has to be the stuff that costs the most. It also pisses me off that you can't contact anyone and get these issues fixed.
