The Secret Menu app uses the knowledge of the community to provide you with details and recipes of the most interesting and tasty secret menu items available at all of your favorite restaurants.
There are hundreds of items available from many restaurants. As the list of secret menus keeps growing, we will update and report on all new items to keep you in secret menu heaven.
While the app is educational, it badly needs an update. Dairy Queen now has the Peanut Buster Parfait & Banana Split Blizzard on the regular menu.
This is kind of stupid but some people don’t know about some of the stuff so download it if you want I guess.
I thought we could actually order foods from restaurants, but look! All it does is to teach you how to mix one stupid food after another into some revolting foods!! Eww!
I thought thia might be legit "secret" menu items at the various restaurants. They are nothing more than the app creator's imaginative ideas, although while some are good, they ae nothing but a mix and match of different menu items. To make it even worse, every time you click on an item you get a full screen ad that must be closed. Not worth the download.
You pick a secret menu icon. Go to enter it will bring you right out of the app..
The trick is, not every employee knows about the secret menu items, so you just order as a customized menu item. This is fully spelled out in the app. For example, despite what a previous reviewer said, everything listed for 5 Guys is available, just not necessarily by name in the restaurant. So you wouldn't walk into 5 Guys and order a "patty melt," you'd order a grilled cheese and have them add a hamburger patty and whatever else you wanted.
This is just a "neat to have" app. Had no problems with it until now. Beginning with this update, there are ads that pop up when using the "Back" function. Just need to have a finger ready to hit one of the top corners of the screen to kill them! Why the need for the ridiculous full-screen ones? Couldn't something a little more subtle work as well?
While the App itself works it is the stupidest thing I have seen, basically the secret meanie is for you to order a bunch of items and put them together. So if you are really stoned or like spending way too much money at fast food then I would skip this one.
