i can tell Seashine wasn’t made just because a game developer sat down at their desk and thought, “i need to make a game to earn me some money.” Seashine is a passion project, made because developer Patrick Ellis wanted to make a beautiful piece of art, a game that’s just.... i don’t know the right positive adjective to describe this. i first downloaded the game in 2015, and i’ve been on and off throughout the years. Seashine is just so impossibly beautiful. i just love the graphics and the soundtrack, both of which deserve their own essays of appreciation. for the level of quality and beauty in this game, it’s surprising that it doesn’t eat up my battery when i play. i love the details and culture provided by the flora and fauna descriptions. in the abyss, you are always lost, and that makes you perfectly at home. i think it’s really important to mention that, for a free mobile game, the ads in Seashine are sparse and easy to skip. i’ve never been redirected to download a game due to challenging X or skip buttons on an advertisement, and they only show up every three games - which is still amazing, since usually games are multiple minutes long. you CAN make in-app purchases, but they’re for currency that is already very easy to collect, and this game is obviously not structured to encourage you to spend money on it. even though, if Seashine was a premium game, i’d gladly buy it. i love your game so much. thank you for making this game, Patrick Ellis.

I have recently installed this game today, because a couple years ago i installed this game when I was a child. I really love this game, so much that it’s my favorite mobile game I have ever saw. I really like how a lot of the creatures in this game are based of real animals. I would like to see a goblin shark added into this game, I really like the creature!

Cool, interesting, and beautiful

It’s an okay game, but it gets realllllllllly boring. I die after 30 seconds... but I can say that that one scene from finding Nemo finally makes sense to me. Wow thanks Seashine

Bigger animals please :D

☁️??✨

Hi I think this game is really cool and I play it all the time but could you add bigger animals because I think it would be super cool to see a bunch of giant fish swimming around. And I don’t mean giant fish that you can interact with i just mean giant fish swimming in the background. Like the giant squid in the tutorial.

Truly amazing

This game has obviously had care put into it. It’s not begging you for your cash. Nothing is locked behind a paywall. You can get the whole experience for free. Yes, you can pay to get there faster but it’s not impossible to do so without paying like in other games. The art is beautiful and while simple, the gameplay is just as wonderful. The music fits perfectly. I wish other mobile games would take notes and be more like this one.
