Was a Great Game… note’WAS’

This was my favorite game. However the developers have completely switched the focus and gameplay around 100%. Everything I purchased and used gems for as well as my strategy is completely gone now. They have added so many events and quests almost overnight that it’s impossible to complete and win. The new Admiral system is totally junk and confusing. Where I use to be able and use one with a 500% boost capacity it’s now down to just adding 10 more load capacity. You can’t complete one quest without numerous sailings. Sadly I bought the event pass like I always have in the past but this is my last one and I will quit playing once it expires. Thank you PIXEL for taking a great fun game and trashing it!

I would definitely say this was a five star game. They made ads entirely optional, without costing anyone money. You can grind for anything the game offers with VERY FEW exceptions. Any competitive elements are not necessary, and friendly. It has been a very relaxing grind for me for years, Seaport. The first turn was all the events. They seldom offer much of long-term use, and largely are eyesores on the map. I believe they are designed to slow down player progression,so the endgame doesn’t come as quick. And in events where you get an upgradeable ship, well and good. But they are over often before one can even get underway to reach their finale, and they just keep coming. If you fail to upgrade your event ship entirely, it’s stuck that way. I don’t care about events anymore, I’m burnt out on them. The second hit came with admirals. I don’t like anything about them, and they are beyond useless compared to captains. They took a boosting element and turned it into lootboxes. Weak boosts for who knows how many card purchases before they actually pay off. No thank you. So now, leveling up, and finishing missions will take endlessly longer, no exaggeration. I like the game, but am done with events and will not even look at admirals. It will take decades to reach level 300 now, let alone anything endgame...irrevocable three star rating is the result.

I don’t know why you messed with the captains like that. Now I can’t carry anything. What the heck were you guys thinking over there. I had a boatload of captains ready to go I’ve been saving when I need them and poof. What we received is definitely not worth what we had. Jeeze…

Been playing for almost a year. Loved the game, until the Admiral update. Complicated, and ruined it.

Update dated the game and I lost all my captains that I had collected. The developers are only interested in making money. They do not care about the players. They cannot resolve game issues. They only blame the player.

Having enjoyed the game for some time, the latest update has caused me to delete the game. Trying to play and they force you to go thru the process of how you really need to pay to play.

This was one of my favorite games, but it was on the expensive side. They just redesigned to game to extract even more money from you. It’s sad, but expected.

Was on an enjoyable roll with this game until the developers switched Captains for Admirals. Trade slowed to a crawl. Advance in the game? Sure…buy some stuff otherwise you’ll be plodding along at a snails pace. A few more days…possibly…then I’m gonna sink this once enjoyable game. Upgrade? No, this was a downgrade.

I have been spending a lot of time looking for a quility game that will still operate even when im not online, and I thought they didnt exist untill I found this. In my personal opinion I rate this game a hard 10/10
