Boring

My mistake. I foolishly thought with the mention of "Sea Wolf" in the designer's description that you would actually be piloting a sub through the sea. This is a basic shoot 'em game. The ships go back and forth across the screen and you fire torpedos to sink. My kids might play it for five minutes???

Boring

Update please

OhReely!

My screen doesn't move side to side like it did before. I'll change my rating to 5 stars when it's fixed. Its a very cool game my son loves it thank you

Not so good but has potential

I just bought it and I was bored. The game has excellent graphics but it lacks action. There should be more than two backgrounds, some boats should come faster than others, if you miss target you lose amo - make the rules /game and sound like the submarine arcade game of the 80's - Many people will like it.

REALLY COOL AFTER THE UPDATE :)

I love retro games and had something similar like this in the 80's. The app works well and love the sinking effects. Lots of fun :) Even smoother now after the update. Well done :)

Good game for the price

Decent game for 99 cents, it's a very polished recreation of all the ol' coin-op submarine arcade games that we've played over the years( I'm old enough to remember the MECHANICAL ones!). You move your periscope back and forth by tilting your iPod and fire torpedoes at ships crossing the screen. Excellent graphics and sound, the controls work smoothly. Occasionally the periscope becomes "stuck" and won't respond, exiting and re-entering the game always fixes it easily. Other than this rare glitch it plays flawlessly on my 1st Gen Touch. Game does exactly what it's supposed to, it's an arcade game sim, not a sub sim. It'd be cool if there were options to make it look like some of the older LCD & LED arcade versions! Minor gripe: A few more backgrounds would big improvement, "night" & "day" get old after awhile. It would really help make the game seem less repetitive.
