I really like this app. I have been trying to learn Chinese for almost a year now and I wouldn't have gotten where I am now without this app. I do have a suggestion though. When using flash cards can you make it so that the flash card takes up the whole screen. Have the screen divided between the flashcard and 'what is a flashcard'/ other meanings and other locations is kind of distracting (maybe add a 'more information' button). Also paying $9 to unlock the WHOLE app when I'm not going to use it all is a waste of money(main reason why I haven't bought it yet). I only plan on using the games and the HSK levels. I won't need the other sets. If i do I would rather pay to unlock the set i want.

I tried to read Learning the Traditional Hanzi, but found the fictional meanings and stories about the primitives bizarre and culturally alien. I simply cannot be convinced that a Chinese primitive means “baseball”! I found and enjoyed reading Chineasy, but it covered so few characters, and it was a muddle of both traditional and simplified hanzi. This app is a godsend. It breaks each character down into its primitive components and presents them in order of complexity, using the primitives and character components you have already learned. Where possible, it gives the actual meaning and context of primitives. It also gives their Mandarin pronunciation in pinyin, which is wonderful. I am using the TOCFL, and my only note is that it would be nice to additionally get the pronunciation in zhuyin, since that is the alphabet in use in Taiwan.

This app is great. I love using it to learn. It has a very user friendly interface. The words come easier and easier the more I practice. It makes learning a new language much more fun. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to quickly memorize characters.

Love the interface and gives you a ton of options for memorization long term. A+! Wasn't a hard decision to buy the full version.

I'm using this one in conjunction with the vocab master. Easy to use and yea I bought both of them too. Worth it. 良いです

Really shows how the characters are built with animations. Makes it much easier to remember them. I could do without the cartoon girl with cat ears, but there you go.

This is a fantastic app overall. Currently I have it set up to not add any automatically and search for and add them manually as I learn them in remembering the kanji book. The feature request would be an all kanji list you can track progress on or a list that follows the RTK order.

My only issue is a lack of choice randomization when working through long lists, but it's still one of the best apps I've used.

Jam-packed with data and features. The nag screen to provide a review was so unobtrusive and *apologetic*that I felt compelled to recommend that anyone interested in a decent "pacific rim" language drill app gets this one. My only complaint is that it maintains alphabetical order or flashcards which can be a bit of a "snore," but even then, for the options provided and the detail of filtering and gameplay capabilities- it was well worth the purchase for this user. SRS is snazzy and there is the option of anime art "coaches" to liven up the User Interface and provide the amusement and support that only a 2D NPC can deliver. Been using it for years, and have been incredibly satisfied. Reliable and robust app.
