Response to Dev: Def not a router issue, I went back to using Smartcast and it runs without concerns. Thanks though! Original post: Worked without any problems for the first couple weeks. Now drops anywhere between 2-5mins in with some weird a## error msg that I can’t get any support with. Wicked frustrating when you’re hosting a game.

This app is a waste of money! If you want to watch yourself scroll around and your tv great, if you want to watch movies from your phone forget about it. I purchased so I can watch things like Netflix, however these apps won’t work and you don’t find out until you are trying to troubleshoot and at they very end of their FAQ is where they tell you apps like Netflix won’t work. Do they provide you with a list of apps that won’t work? No, but they are nice enough to tell you how to figure it out for yourself. And don’t try to stream directly from the internet because then you won’t have any audio. I feel completely ripped off and want my time and money back.

First, let me say: I *never* review apps. I just don’t have time. But I’m making an exception here because I read so many 1-star reviews that absolutely lambasted the developers— and I don’t think that’s fair. This app _works_... IF you take the time to read EVERYTHING and to understand what it’s intended to do. I had no problem finding the disclaimer about Netflix; and given I have a smart TV, I don’t need Mirror Samsung for that. I wanted to mirror my (free!) yoga app so I wasn’t looking at my iPad screen. My choices were $50 worth of cable/adapter, or this $5 app. Totally worth it! Yes, there’s a 2-second time delay— so what?! I turn the volume off on my iPhone app and there’s no issue. I can even change the orientation from portrait to landscape. I walked thru the YouTube video tutorial, and I was up & running. The only issue I had was understanding that I don’t have to re-open the app (that just takes u to the tutorial)— I just have to go into Control Center & activate Screen Recording (NOT Screen Mirroring!). Also that ScreenRecord requires iOS 11 (I think I got that right?), which wasn’t an issue for iPhone 7. I sure hope there are other less-impatient folks out there who will take the time (10 or 15 minutes?!) to try the app, because I’ll be devastated if the developers have to pull the plug on it for the stupidest of reasons. Thanks for creating it!

I installed the app on three of my devices (on a MacOS device and on two iOS devices) and followed the instructions along with brief guidance from tech support and the product works seamlessly. I would highly recommend it!

App installed fine, confirmed that it could communicate with my TV, as it sent the demo video to my TV. Although when try long to stream an app the stream button in control center is greyed out and not selectable. Customer service could not resolve and recommended I obtain a refund from Apple. UPDATE: After writing my initial review the app maker replied and told me screen recording was a function in iOS, not there function (which customer service never mentioned). After I was told that I googled the issue and found that if restrictions are turned on screen recording could have been disabled. I found that screen capture had been disabled in my restrictions, turned it on and now the app is working. I did notice audio lag others mentioned.
