Not pairing
TypeR2019

When I first used the app it was going great I was carpooling with two other coworkers in my department that actually lived few houses down from me. The app was pairing us up then it started messing up. How you pair 3 people to drive work and then only pair 1 person with the driver to go home. I would assume if you’re pair with the driver to go work that you pair up with the same driver again going home. This happened to me a few times and also the fact they paired me up with someone else that’s 40 minutes across town from me. And now the app is giving one of my co workers a hard time. He’s not even pairing up with me or anyone else anymore. I hope scoop fixes this problem. I understand it’s a app to build a community and carpool. But doesn’t make sense if you have 3 people that wants to ride together and leave the same time. But the app isn’t pairing us together.

Why does Scoop always need to know my location?
mads of sf

As a driver, scoop forces me to “Always Allow” the app to know my location. This is extremely annoying and makes me uncomfortable. They do not give a clear indication of why my location should be set to always. With other commuter/ride share apps like Uber, Waze, and Lyft, I only have to give my location while using the app. @scoop please explain..

Can’t afford it.

I don’t think I’ll be able to use it anymore. It’s gotten way too expensive.. I really loved this app and their customer service has always been good but I can’t afford to pay $14 a day to carpool.. it’s crazy expensive. Such a shame though. I really liked the app despite its minor flaws. But the price was what drew me to it in the first place. It used to be $3 per ride up until last week.

Waste of time
money faucet

Spend 30 minutes setting up account, verifying email, adding a picture, adding a credit card. Get to the end and I’m just told no rides exist from my home to work. Thanks for wasting my time! 1 added star for effort.

Return timing late as 3:40

I leave early to work at 7 some days and l need a ride back at 3 or earlier .

Departure

To get matched with a specific coworker it is imperative to choose the exact same departure. Don’t use the home address!

You might not have a ride home

I live and work in Seattle. Used scoop for three weeks, and now I’m done forever. Tired of finding out I don’t a ride home. Tired of paying for Uber out of pocket.

Drivers
Neeshellmybell

You’re at the mercy of the drivers schedule so if they’re late, you will be late. And there’s no urgency for them to be on time.

Can’t get it to work
nonicknametodsy

Says it’s not “available yet in my area.” I live in the DC burbs. If it’s not available here, then where?

Always late
Matbonilla3

Besides 1 or 2 drivers, my scoop is consistently 10 minutes late
