I have been a subscriber for years. This app has made it easier to watch on my Apple TV and iPad. Don is a great teacher an is up on almost everything new.

I really want to give this app five stars, but I’m afraid an overwhelmingly perfect response from SCO’s fanbase will put Don’s comprehensive Screencastsonline out of business. Rest assured that this is outstanding software, and that you get the full treatment of individual apps. I plan to continue subscribing to the full SCO offering — online and in magazine form — just because I like learning about apps and programs that I otherwise wouldn’t have heard of or used without Don McAllister’s comprehensive tutorials. If all you need is a specific run-down of an app now and then, this Showcase option is obviously the best bet. So, here’s my five stars ***** and my hope SCO in all its forms continues to thrive.

I’ve been a ScreenCastsOnline (SCO) subscriber for many years. I’ve discovered apps I most likely wouldn’t have used had I not seen them on SCO. Don McAllister, owner and educator extraordinaire, is a fantatstic instructor. His tutorials are clear, concise, and fun. I’ve learned about new apps, improved my knowledge of my often-used apps, and become a near-expert on many apps, all because of these wonderfully instructive videos. You can get just iOS, just Mac, or both. With the release of the fantastic new TV, they’ll even stream to your living room so you can watch tutorials on your glorious big screen! Give it a try (many are free) using this terrific little Showcase app. Watch and learn about the BEST password manager out there, 1Password. You’ll find that it’s much more than just a password manager, but that’s another 5★ review ;) Looking forward to another great year of fabulous tutorials. Oh, and Don’s accent makes listening to these even more fun! Give it a try, and you’ll be a subscriber, too. Cheers!

The new App groups everything by subject as opposed to chronologically. Extremely helpful and a bit motivational in the sense that you see the subject and all the parts that are available for watching. Don is a natural teacher and presenter. I stay current on all my favorite apps and programs and have learned absolutely scads of power tips through ScreenCastsOnline. Fabulous resource for the harried and ill-organized!

SCO is simply best in class video learning for all things Apple. The tutorials are given in the perfect pace with excellent video quality, and cover the best Mac and iOS applications as well as proper use of Apple hardware. As a member, I love being able to watch all past and present tutorials from my Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Apple TV; SCO even has an beautifully done multi-media iOS newsletter each month! The presenters are extremely knowledgeable and have their own niches of expertise. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned techie, SCO will have content to enjoy. I highly recommend giving this app a try and get a taste for the wonderful world of Screencasts Online!

I've been viewing Don McAllister's fantastic Mac and IOS videos for years on his subscription plan, but if a weekly model is overkill for you, here's a great way to select and view just the ones you want for $1.99 each.
