The SCO Members iOS app allows existing ScreenCastsOnline members access to a growing library of Apple related video tutorials.
With the SCO Members iOS app you can stream videos whilst online, create favourites, search the library and access playlists. Members on the Annual membership plan can also download tutorials to their iPad or iPhone for offline viewing.
With the built-in video player you can access the optional English captions, select your playback speed and use the Picture In Picture feature to view tutorials whilst using other applications.
Non members can download and install the SCO Showcase app from the App Store. The SCO Showcase app contains some free tutorials as well as individual tutorials available for purchase.
ScreenCastsOnline video tutorials are a great way to learn more about getting the most out of your Apple devices.

I have had a subscription to SCO for about 5-6 years now and it just keeps getting better with every year. The way the content is explained and shown is just first class all the way. These are no you tube videos, these are professionally made videos on all kinds of topics. I learn something every time I watch one. I even think I'll skip one because I use the app and know what I'm doing, but I watch it anyway and sure enough I end up saying "I didn't know that". It's well worth the money to subscribe because of content, professional quality, and in-depth reviews of the content being covered. Don and all of his crew really do know what they are doing. Highly recommend subscribing.

Just two things that I miss. 1) 1.25x speed. 1.5X is a little bit to fast for me 2) Chapters in videos. Other than that, great job! I replaced Downcast with your app for SCO. Keep up a good work. Thank you for what you are doing.

Below is my original review. However I have added the fifth star I promised I'd give if variable playback speeds were added. Thank you so much. This will make viewing so much more enjoyable and efficient!! Original review: Screencasts online is a wonderful site to learn about macOS,iOS, productivity, and many other tech related and Apple-centric topics. So glad to see an iOS app for even easier access to the content on our iphones and ipads. I know this is just version 1.0 but I am reserving my 5th star for variable playback speed. I would like to be able to playback the videos at 1.25x,1.5x,1.75x,and 2.0x. A bonus would be gestures to allow skipping forward and backwards with a swipe. Please check out the "SpeedUpTv" app for iphone and ipad as a model for gesture and variable playback support. thanks!!

Very nicely done on the new application. The ability to adjust the playback speed on the picture in picture features are tremendously helpful! Also, I will not miss the frustration of the magazine app when rotating my iPad between portrait and landscape during the middle of a video only to have it stop and reset. Hallelujah! Congrats on the new and improved product.
