You've got to run around gathering objects while avoiding enemies.
You can dig down through some of the blocks to get at buried objects. After you've collected everything, ladders may appear.
To finish the level you've got to exit through the top of the screen.
If an enemy falls into a dug brick, he is stunned for a while.
If the brick fills in with him in it, he is killed, and he will reappear at the top of the screen.

i had Lode Runner on an old computer & i've been looking for a replacement ever since. this is very much like it. i downloaded it a few days ago & i'm already hooked! my only criticism thus far is that there is no indication of how many objects there are to collect in each level, so i don't know if i'm retrieving everything? i know the ladder appears if u get all the stacks of coal (or whatever the purple things are), but is there more than one gold bar in each level? on the screen where i choose what level to play i see that some gold bars of games that i've played are lit up & some aren't. any way u could add a little explanation in the app store or add a number that counts as you retrieve the objects? thx! if so, i'll come back & upgrade my review!
