Great start but room to improve

This is a great addition to my track. Way better than other mechanical counters. Still would be nice if I could select cars from my garage when setting up a race. Not sure the point of adding cars to my garage. Would like to add drivers and driver profiles so I don't have to set up each time and would be nice to keep career history for drivers. One last thought is that I cannot add custom track details. Just a picture, and so no speed info is available like it is when choosing a standard layout.

Unstable

The application constantly crashes, I cannot believe it's been released off at such a poor state. Please fix!

How About A Do-Over?

This software has so much potential, but it's getting worse rather than better! I have never been able to output stats to anything and now, races never finish. If this is because I have the first ARC system, then maybe I should have gone with a different manufacturer.

The must have features work, and that's it.

And that should be satisfying, but it isn't. Because the ARC race sets are sold with all the hoopla of the app enhancing the Racing experience but so far some non essential features don't work. I'm not talking about the features for air and pro. On arc one that is normal, perfectly okay for some features to be grayed out. I'll explain after I mention what works. Timing and lap counter works as does Grand Prix and tournament modes with qualifying race and heats. Adding driver names, helmet colors, and car pics also work with catalog cars or custom pics of cars if desired (make your pic small in kbyte size for success). Solo practice doesn't work, but you can just add two and race one with standard finish so the race ends when you cross the finish line. Adding your stock materials doesn't work. Car speed works correct if you pick a track set that's stock or with scalextric's extension sets. You can't add an x amount of track pieces to represent your customized set. Various glitches happen making it cumbersome to get the app to work requiring a certain order of starting the app and blue tooth or need to uninstall and reinstall. So the app isn't polished and arc one and air are already out. Considering the many more features for pro, you got to wonder if it'll be ready and would it be wise to buy Pro without solid confirmation that the app works well.

less than okay with lots of window dressing

Latest update doesn't work on the iphone se. On the older iphone, the app is the same, no noticeable improvements. I was expecting trackable stats related to cars, drivers and courses. You are basically getting a really simple lap counter and countdown timer for each lane. The pit stop gaming is okay. Email stats don't work. tracking inventory is worthless. be prepared to break out paper on race night. also a fair number of the buttons that look like features of the system actually do nothing, kind of like exhaust pipes on a slot car. window dressing
